Walking wake do nothing in your video, like all "gameplay" of walking wake we can find on yt. Maybe cause he s bad ? (I think he is clearly useless)
@davidaustria97268 сағат бұрын
Walking wake is only "good" because it's retreat cost is 1 (same as fluttering), it adds to to Roaring moon atack by being an ancient card, and it can endure 1 hit from Cramorant, radiant Greninja, Miraidon (the baby one), etc.
@fivey530520 сағат бұрын
Why does switching Ursaluna out then in allow it to attack again?
@Mamu6263 сағат бұрын
When he attacks he gets a condition where he can't attack again next round, but when you switch out pokemon lose conditions. Something like that I just started playing lol
@nickfanzo20 сағат бұрын
I’m confused here, a mon you can’t attack with is better than a Mon you can attack with (Koraidon),that also has ancient? Can you explain why this off flavor Mon is better? I don’t see it. Thanks.
@yoyo80s4118 сағат бұрын
The retreat cost is better specially when you have it in your starting hand... Not sur it's better though, atm we need more feed back.

I don't play Natsugiri and Manaphy. They consume to much space on the bench. Better add a second Driftlon to attack straight forward.

Is the hype for new cards. No sense
@meep607214 сағат бұрын
I think its because it has 1 less retreat cost so you can pivot if you start with it in active I guess? That makes no sense though since if you start with koraidon you can just attack with it while powering vengeance fletching rather than using 4 cards that have no offensive use

How to overcome deck with iron thorns ex?
@ZapdosTCGКүн бұрын
Against quad Iron Throns, 1 Cornerstone Ogerpon ex is enough. Against a lost Box playing it, it could be a bit thougher to get your setup, a Burst Roar could help to bail you out when you're stuck.

May i know whats the rationale to have ultra ball ? I saw some list with one or two ultra balls
@ZapdosTCGКүн бұрын
Helps as an additional way to find Pokemon and can get your hand empty to draw more with Mew ex in some situations.

Assuming getting to Worlds is too easy it seems getting to Worlds is more about playing in many events doing decent than just being an excellent player. I would want the best players to be at worlds and not just the most engaged ones. When you are raising the qualifications you are disqualifying even more players who might be great at the game but not be able to attend all the events. Even if you were the World's best at the game you are not guaranteed to win a Regional/IC to qualify for Worlds if you are just playing in few of them. A hybrid qualification system where a smaller part of the top point scoring players qualifies for worlds, therefore rewarding (fewer of) those who attend the most events and do good at them as well as another path to worlds like getting to top 8/16/32/whatever at a once a season regional worlds-qualifier you can only attend having earned a certain (much lesser) number of points (lets say 200) and only participate in this kind of event once a season (no travelling to all of them) OR the top x performers at a Regional OR ... would get (fewer of) the most engaged good players and those players good enough to be able to do well in and spike a major tournament.

Jamming tower feels like it shuts down Garde’s attackers a lot. Without more HP it’s hard for them to stack damage counters to hit hard enough

Hi there! I’m the Dragapult player you faced twice, gg! Gotta be honest, Manaphy being prized second game wasn’t in my plan :(, lost box proving how terrifying it can be once again. Might practice more with the pidgeot variant before tomorrow’s tourney at my local store, haven’t had so much success with Xatu in comparison so far, maybe it’s my playstyle.
@MrWessiide3 күн бұрын
It's not you the xatu variant is by far the weakest. Utilizing Mela and the ace spec energy with Pidgeot is the best version currently

Its all about expenses, regardless of the tournaments that you're attending to. Based on many experiences by most tcg players, your money will be spent on travels, refreshments, and the money you spent on the sets featured in the card you choose. If im going to the world championships in TCG, i would spend more than just cards youre going to spend.
@_6ix-4 күн бұрын
The invite wasn't necessarily too easy but it was very pay to win. If you can go to every event you could get it by accident but if you can only do a regional or two it's really hard. It seems we have a ton of players that can afford to go to ten regionals and two internationals, getting an invite at that many majors is very easy if you have a pulse. The invite should be adjusted with two regional finish max and maybe one IC finish but make the point threshold lower
@ZapdosTCG4 күн бұрын
I understand your point. In a season people need to travel to at least 6 big events in order to even get a Worlds Invite. But I think the dedication should be rewarded as well. I wonder what Pokemon will do when the game grows even more. With more players it means more people get an invite as well. With 1300 players, Worlds feels less special imo.
@tlspidey90963 күн бұрын
I think a better Way of looking at it is that the quality of players have grown. With the price increase a lot of players have made an incentive to travel more because there's a return investment now.

People saying too many have it backwards. People qualified for worlds have played a lot and should be rewarded. People being elitist is absurd. That's what day 2 and finals are there for. "Upping the average skill of the players" is a stupid argument. Making it a 3 day event with 18 swiss rounds and a t16 and 3000 players would still make it very hard to top and win.

Was just about to ask this question. I have a feeling they haven't sent out the invites yet, as Pokémon hasn't posted anything on Twitter about it and I haven't seen anything on other social media platforms with people saying they got selected. On the interest list sign up page, it said they were drawing the "week of June 10th" so they still have a few days to make their selections. Hopefully we hear about that soon, good luck with the selection process! :)

The combination of people in the TPCi structure + people from Asia. Most likely 20% of people with an invite won't show because Hawaii is kind of expensive.

There is no way it reduces the cost by 1 of each energy, it's just 1 total

The game has grown so much!!! Day 1 of worlds used to be around 500 players. So imagine if they didn't raise the cp amount this season lol. Maybe local tournaments are the problem

Do you think a Worlds Invite was too hard or too easy this year?
@brianhsieh25464 күн бұрын
it isn't called the world championships for nothing. so it should be hard to obtain an invite. 1300 players is too much imo. i think they'll have to up the threshold again
@easyygo30084 күн бұрын
Who says so? You have to play a lot in the season to get there, anyone playing worlds played a lot this year
