Thank you whoever taped this. Phew, Davy Jones and Mrs. Brady cooking a recipe together I never expect to see, though I should'a done considering how odd combos keep coming up.

I loved Maureen McCormick as Rebecca. She was snobbish, yet sophisticated. I loved to hate her! Passions was foolish for not offering her a contract. Andrea Evan’s turned Rebecca into a trashy woman, not as she was originally imagined. Her escapes with Julian were disgusting and foolish.

Robert Reed looks like he lost a bet and had to do this informercial as a result. That said, he still was the perfect ideal father figure on the Brady Bunch. Outside of maybe Tim Allen, no one is really portraying that type of wise father figure nowadays on network TV.

This makes me wonder what a crossover of The Bradys and Married, With Children would've been like.
@Spook1234-e8i19 күн бұрын
Well one of the main problems with this show was that they were taking a half hour comedy and turn it into an hour long drama. And the variety show from the mid 70s was an exceptionally bad idea, it just didn't work.

A shame they could not have six more guests on this particular episode of Florence Henderson Country Kitchen with her and Robert Reed.

My brother had a chance to join a Montreal group back in the early 70’s, but my parents made him stay in school. Months later, they hit the airwaves with Could Have Been A Lady, and became famous in Canada and beyond. My brother said that it was the biggest disappointment in his life.

. Strange to check, and find out that Mackenzie Phillips and Valerie Bertinelli were (basically) about the same age on "One Day At A Time" (in actuality, they were separated by (about) 5 months in age)......for some reason Mackenzie seemed SO much (well....somewhat, anyway) older than her "sister"..... 🤨 .

That was nice; I’m bummed that I missed it when it originally aired. What made Ann B. so special was that who she was on the inside was just like the persona she portrayed, as Alice, on the outside. She’d say it’s because she was given a new heart when she turned from sin and began trusting her Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
