It has something to do with the Palestinian resistance against the Israeli occupation, as it was sung by women at the time of the prisoner’s visit to deliver a promising message.🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸💖

This song is composed of two tarweedeh songs which the women folk used to sing with secret messages in them for their men who were imprisoned. By adding an extra letter laam to the words they would send secret messages to their men on how they would escape.

This song is from the Levant folklore. Apparently in a year of drought and while the men had to leave their homes and towns on a ship called 'Al Rozana', in order to get water and food, one of the women who stayed behind was singing to the ship that her husband was sailing on and asking the ship to bring him back home safely. Many versions exist, this is the one i know!
