Wise words spoken by a wise man. I am so glad you speaking about it Throughout the elections I was wondering what would Dr Cloete say about this. This year countless people were at a loss as to who to vote for, I had numerous conversations with my family members, friends, strangers about affirmative action, the death penalty, women's rights, minimum wage. Political studies should be mandatory in secondary school. It was weird for me to hear how little people knew about affirmative action or why we don't have the death penalty.

Thank you for your analysis. I hear you say it is a negotiating tactic when the DA asks for 12 ministries, but this is taking too long now. Regarding good faith, there will come a time when the president will have to make a decision. Assuming that his choices are not entirely out of wack, the duration of negotiations should indicate that he acted in good faith. Assuming 30 ministers, the DA should get 9, the ANC 17 to 18, the IFP 2 to 3, and the PA 1. The IFP will get one of those positions the DA wants. The PA will get Sport like they asked. The FF+ and UDM can each get a deputy minister position. The rest can be accommodated in the committees. With only one or two members, Rise, Al Jama, Good, and the PAC should focus their efforts in Parliament rather than the Cabinet. What do you think of the possible composition? Hopefully, the ANC will keep Naledi Pandor at International Affairs even though they will have to use one of their two non-MEC positions to do so. I hope we will get an answer tomorrow.

With regard to GNU and your comments, I am of the view that Jacob Zuma having led the ANC from 2009 till 2018 had the baton to lead our country in the direction that he and all who believed in him desired. Instead, he tragically squandered that opportunity in favour of looting the coffers of State as well as invite unsavoury foreign handlers,( the Guptas) to not only help him loot our country but also helped to empower them to bribe and manipulate our govt Ministers for their own benefit. Added to that was the biggest embarrassment any country can suffer, allowing the Guptas, family and friends over 200 of them to breach our Waterkloof Air Force Base and to land there with a Jet Airways chartered flight followed by smaller aircraft. This was known as the era of STATE CAPTURE. This whole debacle was unconscionable and unforgivable. ZUMA had literally handed over the reigns of our government to foreigner vultures who absconded with billions of our country's rands and now they are happily hiding and thriving in Dubai. Now, please tell me how in good conscience can anyone trust Jacob Zuma, who I was a huge supporter of, after this stomach thumping experience? During all of this mayhem where was his concern for all the poor, homeless and downtrodden of our country? Moreover, I believe JZ is one of our smartest politicians, if not the smartest and most cunning. That said, no amount of calls for his support now and his idealogies will set my mind and heart at rest when I remember the excruciating pain and profound confusion he visited on me and the rest of our fellow countrymen. Like many politicians the world over, as history has proven time and time again, they are men and women of EXPEDIENCY and not of PRINCIPLE.

Everyone hates the DA because they have white members. That's it. Everyone is voting on cultural lines. WE NEED TO STOP. The DA has proven themselves economically. Markets are the people There is no difference .

Investors vs the people. This lie is at the heart of our problem. We are all agreed that lifting millions of south africans out of poverty into a better life is our first priority. The DA, ANC and EFF all agree on this. It's how where the differences start. The eff and anc cadres will tell you that markets, capital and investors are the enemy of the "people" and that the way to prosperity is state control of the markets and to take whatever you can from one sector of the population and give it to another. The DA on the other hand recognizes that economic growth is by far the single biggest mechanism we have and if you stifle markets and the associated investment and confidence you will end up exactly where we are after 30 years. Terms like white monopoly capital and sellout are political slogans that have never and will never achieve anything other than condemn the poor to another 30 years of hopelessness. As for Zuma and his party it is nothing more than a front that he intended using to get the corruption charges against him dropped via a presidential pardon.

Civic education is required, I worry that SAfricans are not aware of parties policies as well. Like policies on affirmative action, housing, minimum wage. It interests me what people base votes on if the policies don't determine it.

Is the GNU not an attempt to circumvent the will of the people? There has been a lot of talk now about what the investors would like and what they won’t like. This argument feels like it want to put the DA in power against the will of the people.

Revisiting this topic, Doc you missed the mark. It was never about the erasure of the "Khoisan" it was about the erasure of the "Black Man". They erased the Black people from North Africa and told us the Black Africans were Sub-Saharan, bound to below the desert. They told us the East African is a caucasoid with dark skin AKA they called Black East Africans White people with dark skin. They said the khoi and San people were multiracial people called Coloureds and that the Black people were all "Bantu" from Congo. They even tried to claim Mansa Musa was a White Arab who conquered Black Africans and said the Benin empire was thanks to Whites. This is bigger than just the erasure of the "Khoisan", they have been trying to genocide a whole race for centuries!

Indigenous means the first , earliest, original inhabitants of a region or country . The Khoi and San alone are indigenous to SA . They and their coloured descendants are the FIRST NATION of this land .

The conclusion I reached bears reference to the bible story of Tamar and her brother Absalom. Absalom raped his sister Tamar. After the rape, he hated Tamar. Back to the subject at hand. The Anglo-Boer War saw Boers thrown into concentration camps by the English. Besides fighting for resources, there was a racial slur to that war. The English looked down on the Boers. Amongst other things, because the Boers lived in "harmony" with the natives. Us black people. It is said that the first white wedding in South Africa was a wedding between a black woman and a white man. A Boer. Or Farmer. There are rumors that Hendrik Potgieter had many wives. Two of whom, were black women. Naturally these marriages produced children. Coloured children. Besides intermarriages between blacks and whites, there were interracial marriages between the Cape Malays who were brought as "workers slash slaves" to the Cape. This group also produced coloured kids with both blacks and whites. Fast forward to the time when Boers began to be racist. Which in my view, was Boers sucking up to England. Or should I say, social validation that to elevate their image before the English. Hence, amongst the many prohibitions of apartheid was intermarriage. The aim was to PURIFY their whiteness. During apartheid, amongst the many crimes committed, were rapes committed by whites towards their black female help. These relations too produced children. Colored children. Additionally, there were many children born by two people in love but were prohibited to be together. Overall, except for the initial relationships, the coloured community came into existence through negative circumstances. Something analogous to illegitimate children. Somewhat creating the image that they are perceived as the illegitimate race. Just as Absalom hated Tamar for the crime perpetrated, the superior citizens of South Africa hated "the audit evidence" of their lust. As a result, at some point, they waged a war against colourd people. The interview linked above is detailed on the crimes our superior paler counterparts committed against coloured people. Fast forward to modern day, coloured people are suppressed in inhumane ways. Many subtle. Some gross. The result is their absence in everything. Few in politics. Few in the entertainment industry. I can go on. It's as if, the world MUST not know they exist. Because if the world were to know, they will learn of the Hitler-like nature of our paler counterparts. Most importantly, I'm ashamed that I didn't see these things sooner. I was so absorbed in black/white racism to see our shared trauma with coloureds. I believe that the "systematic shunning" must be worst on coloured people because they are a minority.

If not coloured , then what ?
