Great video, I really enjoyed your narration and overview of this important engagement. My ancestor participated in Mower's charge on March 21 as a soldier in the 27th Ohio (Fuller's Brigade) and survived to march in the Grand Review in Washington two months later. I have never visited the battlefield, even when I lived in Raleigh as a kid, but have followed the development of the state battlefield park there over the years. Well done, and keep up the good work! 🥁🇺🇸

Why does nobody ever comment on Hood being a drug addict resulting from the appalling injuries the poor bloke had suffered. There was nothing bar opium and alcohol for pain relief and he had a lot of pain.

My Great Great grandfather Private William Garner of the 32nd Tennessee Infantry Regiment part of Palmers brigade Cheathams division of the Army of Tennesse under Stewart fought at Bentonville Salute from Alabama to the brave men of both sides
