I work at night here in New Zealand where more often than not exposed to the night sky...Do I look up? Yes not all the time probably i don't wont to deal with it at that moment should it happen.

Hi David! I had a UFO sighting in 1995 in Central NY with my father. That sorta sent me on this path and I started reading a ton of books on UFOs soon after. The rest is history!

The suspected high intensity electromagnetic field that is associated with observed UAPs could possibly have an impact on the human central nervous system such that memory consolidation is negatively impacted. This could explain the cognitive symptoms being described. It is know intense magnetic fields used theraputically can cause retrograde amnesia.

That's a great possible explanation @lylemacdonald6672. I find the other explanations of 'dissociative amnesia' , linked to ontological shock that cause people to compartmentalize & hide the memory of a UFO sighting or event also quite compelling. Myself and a friend had an 'orb' UFO sighting once, (2007) and we both went about our biz as if nothing had happened. I recently asked him what he remembers about it, and he had totally forgotten until I mentioned it!

Damn. I had heard the name, but I'm not into post 2000 movies. I had other commitments during the live show, and another actor jumping on the bandwagon wasn't really engaging as an idea. But, I'm glad I stepped back in time, to catch this. (We don't think about it, but modern technology lets us time travel.) An actor with a brain. How unusual. While I've met a few actors, most are extremely shallow in areas outside of business. I know a couple A listers, and focusing outside of the lights isn't really their thing. So good for Jane. (Let me amend that, I also know that some of these actors are very active in areas outside of the Industry.) But it's good to see that expanse open up. (😁).

Figured out how to find this podcast. Hubby and me had a weird experience years ago here in Montana. Lost 2 hours of time after spotting something in the sky...also saw something in the White Mountains of Arizona that we couldn't explain.

Just watched the episode with Thomas Jame, he is a great actor and the Expanse was brilliant watched it 4 times pity it ended, I was utterly amazed with his knowledge and love of this topic and you did a great job with the interview. Keep up the great work🤘

A big actor couldn't do this in the eighties or nineties. I mean, you had Shirley MacLaine in the mid-eighties, talking about trance channeling, out-of-body experiences, and visiting ETs, but that was about it. I get the sense today that UFOs and ETs are no longer taboo, no longer something you have to wait until "after you have tenure" to talk about.
