How do you know this product actually changes the code to prevent AFM and not just program the display to show V8. Im hesitant when I read some reviews saying MPG didn’t change or didn’t change by much or that the exhaust sound didn’t change. How do we know it really is operating 8 cylinders?
@HilltownCT

@Garebare1 I’m currently using it on a Silverado and the truck noticeably sounds different when I unplug it and it switches from V4 to V8 and vice versa.

Forget pellets. If you have a woodlot, access to loggers or arborists for cost free firewood is better. Exercise. Managing forests. You're wrong about firebox fills. It's experience. No blower needed. Mess? Hey, do you clean the home ? We have used wood for decades with no central oil or gas furnace with large EPA stoves with little routine maintenance ( like gaskets ). Inserts are not very efficient compared with free- standing stoves. And, pellets make unromantic noise if you need some love. JMNSHO

I got my 590 and 591 back 2017/2021 they were still $375, and I like them&they will run so good with gutted can W 3/4 ID outlet pipe&rejetted 620 carb. I'm sure they are as fast as the 620. Bone stock, no porting whatsoever, stock coil too.

I say this now, do not underestimate this large weasel cat. It can kill a 60 pound dog. One killed one on mine in Vermont many years ago. They get big. I have seen many in Vermont. They look exactly like a over grone weasel. I choose to contend with a fox over a fisher

In the years I’ve been using a chainsaw, I always assumed the bar oil made it’s way to the bearing 🤷‍♂️ I guess not, but I have never greased it and never had an issue. My bars always wore out before there was ever an issue with the bearing.

I have a '96 Caprice Classic civilian version with LT1 package. Original car with only 44,000 miles on the odometer. I looked at this car online several times, if I have the same car. The dealer, who was in Maine, passed and they parted out his inventory. If this is the car, he was asking $4,950 as I recall. Looks like you got a great 9C1. I had mine to a local show on Labor Day weekend and had a retired State Trooper approach me with his son. He was quite excited to see the LT1, said the Troopers loved them. He also said that the Fords that followed were not as fast. He just kind of shrugged off the Fords...
@HilltownCT
@HilltownCT 22 күн бұрын
I bought it from that collection you’re referring to. I drove the Caprices and Fords new from that era, and the Fords were pitifully slow. They got a little better as time went on. I’d like to drive a new one to see how they are today.

@@HilltownCT I'd still like to get an '96 Impala SS, but the Caprice Classic was just too tempting a price for me to pass up. A good opp to use it for a step up to the Impala. Those Classics that I see now with the LT1 are asking in the $18M to $23M range. I paid way less than that, way less. Sorted out the usual things and it's like new. And, as you say, getting as rare as hen's teeth. It's a sleeper though. I've taken on a few sneering guys successfully.

Interesting. I just recently found a video that used large zip ties on the handle of the saw. I just ordered some zip ties, I'm gonna try it. I used to use a wooden stick and a can of paint but then gave up, now I just eye it and get it close. My lengths are all over the place but the wood is for personal use only in my wood stove so I don't care too much. But I do like the idea of the zip tie, measuring without having to go over the log twice.

Before reloading rake all the coals forward then place the largest split in the back and fill in from there. This will create a front to back burn that should last a little longer.
