Have you gone over requirements to obtain commercial jobs? Do all business use a “vendor list” ?How to get on their vendor list. Currently working on this but I wouldn’t mind a video on this lol.
@clutterreductionjunkremoval6 күн бұрын
There's typically not requirements other than you may need to provide a COI. If you become a vendor than you will also need to submit a W9 to the business for tax purposes. You get on it by asking if they work with vendors. If so, ask if they would accept you as one, if not, than ask to be referred when residents ask. There's not much more to it honestly.

In 6-8 weeks (supposedly), 2 new recliners are arriving to replace our current reclining sofa and rocker. I'll look for the clips tomorrow but, because of the delivery time frame, I can't take ours apart yet.. so, though I can't possibly tell you yet how much your video made the job easier, I CAN tell you how grateful I am for your posting it.. at least, hopefully, I won't regret my decision to watch! I'm quickly approaching the completion of 74 years and can't do DIY projects as well as I once did, so if my spouse and I pull this off without injury (or divorce), I will name my new recliner after you.. as long as your first name is NOT "Clutter"! We have way too much clutter here already and I don't need my new chair to be constantly reminding me of it!
@clutterreductionjunkremoval7 күн бұрын
@@rickg51 haha I hope you’re able to handle it. Not all recliner backs come off, but I’d say the majority do. Good luck!

@@clutterreductionjunkremoval HELP!!!!! Trying to locate the clips did NOT go so well. The material is wrapped around the bottom and attached (stapled?) across each section. Spouse does not remember details of 2019 delivery but as I remembered it, all the backs were brought in separate and installed by the deliverers but there's no way they would have attached the bottom material like this. I've pulled back the seat and back cushions as much as possible and it looks like the ends of 2 threaded bolts come thru a bracket (from inside to outside) for both sides in each section. Is there another way the backs would have been attached easily other than as you described? Have you another video covering that? We have the furniture tags and warranty info but no manual (trust me, if we'd gotten one, we'd have it -- I still have manuals for products we parted with YEARS AGO!) It's way too heavy for us as "one piece" and afraid its removal with backs attached is an accident (damage) waiting to happen. I really hope you can help. Thanks!
@clutterreductionjunkremoval6 күн бұрын
@ If it's stapled than that would be one of the few where the backs don't come off unfortunately, unless they stapled it shut. You can try googling the couch name and brand and see if you locate any info on it regarding the backs

You got those big jobs from realtors? Only experience I’ve had with realtors is them sending me a pic of some curbside trash and telling me no when I don’t do it for cheap
@clutterreductionjunkremoval8 күн бұрын
Every cleanout we've ever done has come from a realtor. It's a numbers game. Instead of just marketing to them and never seeing them again, keep in touch and get to know them, and when a clean out opportunity comes up, you're a bit more likely to be picked, regardless of price.

Thank you . There’s only two that took me a while to shrug off . One was a debris removal from a 60’ elm tree cut down . The cheap skate thought he’d save some $$$ by not having the arborist haul it away . Boy , did he get a shock 😂. He expected us to haul the whole thing away for $125.00 . He really cursed me out . The second one was worse . I had a knife pulled on me at an encampment clean up . If a cop hadn’t been there I don’t know what would have happened . It took 2 cops to get him down . what size trailer do you recommend? Do you think a trailer is better than a box truck or cargo van to start?
@clutterreductionjunkremoval9 күн бұрын
It's all preference. Box trucks have their perks, but they also typically cost more with commercial auto for junk removal (so I've heard). Cargo van can be good for small loads if your alternative was a pick up anyways. If you already have a pick up, I would get a trailer that's at least 12 cubic yards so you can be competitive with the general hauler.

Bro, I been thinking lately of starting my own junk removal business & have watch a few various videos of different junk haulers but your videos has too much talking in it & I would like to see some videos of some example loads along with prices so I can get a good idea as to how much to charge people. Please shows us some videos of the junk & prices.
@clutterreductionjunkremoval12 күн бұрын
So than don't watch mine lol. Other channels have less talking I'm sure. And me showing loads and prices will do nothing for you unless you're in my area, charging the same prices, with the same size truck. It literally won't help. What we charge for 4 yards at a 1/4 truck will be different in every area like LA for example, their 1/2 trucks are my full loads. Our 1/4 loads are full loads for people out in the countryside. There's plenty of info out there to learn how to price, learn like everyone else.

We don’t cart it away . We use their green bins. And yes we charge extra “ bagging fee “ for that . At times I have some folks , who look for meat that’s been in the freezer for some time. They take it for their dogs . It’s healthier for them than that prepared dog food . I found out the process of making dog food , can lead to cancer in dogs . Plus dog food is so expensive.

This is why its hard to trust people like matt and jojo, whats his face from junk guys, andrew Thompson. They sell you on the idea you can make 2k a day but what the normal average person who needs money doesnt understand is with those truck setups, employees or helpers, insurance and a smaller populatuon + daily expenses and taxes you might net 30% of that. Plus the stupid amount of hours most people work to achieve that constantly.
@clutterreductionjunkremoval19 күн бұрын
@@squirrelatwork I wouldn’t go that far. It’s all subjective. They aren’t wrong, but it’s definitely not a guarantee that it’ll happen. There’s definitely a lot of work and time needed to make it right though. I will say, everyone talks about the highlights because it’s social media, the great stuff sells. But you’ll see in more of their vids that they do touch base on the longevity side as well. But if I come on here and say hey everyone junk removal can suck because of x,y,z, and you’re likely not going to make decent money until year 2-4, etc.. that would turn everyone off. It also depends on the person too. I get it often, people assume because we’ve been in business for 4 years that we are pulling in +15k a month and have multiple jobs a day everyday and that’s quite the opposite. But I’m not as sales driven and hungry as others, so it’s my own doing. I mainly like the work aspect lol
