Nice bike Terry! What was the original colour of the tank? Silver? Can’t understand because under tail cover is red) If you want to make this exhaust a bit quieter you can order optional dB killer for it from the UK from TEC Bike Parts (the only downside that they do not ship directly to North America so you’ll have to find re-sender, but there are plenty of those companies on the market)
@Mr.DavidBrady8 ай бұрын
Yeah , and could you please tell (give a link) where you purchased radiator guard with Union Jack ?
Thanks. The bike is a matt black. I found a dealer online that sold the plastic body panels and ordered the red tail. I hated the gray trim pieces and so replaced them with carbon on the radiator and the tail. As for the tailpipe. I reinstalled the OEM for now. Perhaps one day I'll get around to buying another one or find that DB killer. The pipe did come with one from TEC but was still too loud for my tastes.

I had Recall work done & it was free they swapped a 1 hole hose for 3hole hose.They said 1hole hose gets oil in it & causes an obstruction which gives false readings to ECU stalling issues rough idle & can cause excessive oil use.I had no such issues but got it done took 100mins.I noticed bike idled lower but that's all till I got home & noticed it had used less gas.I used 4.8L per 100km non stop on 106km trip there.On way home I stopped once for gas ⛽ & went same route & used 4.6L per 100km so bike idled lower & was more economical after Recall work but didn't notice any sound difference.Glad I got it done for peace of mind & better idle & better fuel economy & no problems in future from 1hoke hose. Blue pipes on bikes with aftermarket headers us normal too.Also when at Triumph getting Recall work done get some Red Radiator fluid as it hard to come by anywhere else.They take the tank off to swap hose & would be a good time to get them to put a DNA Air Filter in while tank is off.
