I just pulled the engine from a 940 turbo. Ill be putting a m47 or m46 behind it depending on which one works best. Im gonna jam it all in my 240 wagon. Ill be taking note from this build

Why suggest the ECU if your fuel injectors are not opening? Wouldn't it be a fuel injector problem? Unless you changed them and the ECU was telling them not to open? Did you ever fix this issue?

The plate that you questioned provides one of the mounting points for the alternator.

Hi man! I did the same thing as you yesterday. Ipd Cam and STSmachining gear (also blue :-)). Initially, I put oil with zinc (ZDDP) on the new cam. Valvoline VR1 5W50 is available here in Europe at a good price. And it has zinc protection as one of the few. God bless all things Volvo and you!

I was curious if you’ve ever used pop rivets on an install. There was a salt water flats boat manufacturer that used this board for their decking material. They used near the rails a pop rivet. I was thinking it was a white plastic debit. My guess is they used polyester resin to bond the board to the plywood. It was a great material for a deck. Anti-Slip, easy to clean.

Are you running a cone filter and 3 inch MAF with your Vast ECU set up? Any issues with that if so? Have you had any high rpm richness issues that cause puffs of smoke on high rpm shifts? Currently trying to work out those particular issues with those mods. Supposedly the cone filter ruins MAF sensors.

I can tell by the design of the impellor(s) that it's not a Volvo pump. Yes, very often the shipping cost from FCP Euro keeps me from ordering the better parts from them. Since last summer my Volvo dealer has been offering free shipping on their parts. So, I've been buying my Volvo parts from them and receiving 'Genuine Volvo' parts - which are ALWAYS the best. Had the same thing happen to me when I was running GTA trans am wheels. They stuck out too far and I backed up over a ditch and axle twisted and the arch cut my tire right open.
