Well, apparently there are only 15 total, so you might as well have incuded the other five. 🤷🏻♂️

I live in Cheshire and it is one of the lovestruck places to I've. Rolling countryside pretty villages some of these on the list are not the best in Cheshire. There are far nicer if you look.

You missed out Sidmouth, a Regency town on the South Coast of Devon, nice beach but pebbly, and a town with lots of small shops to blouse through

Which may have been changed to suit their political woke ideology. The national trust are disgustingly bias these days. They won’t even put Christmas and Easter on their calendar 😂

I think the National Trust do not have any properties in Scotland. That may be the national trust of Scotland, which is a different charity

With Cheshire you could list twenty beautiful villages and still have plenty left out

I grew up in Cheshire. Some very good choices here. Would question Disley where I lived in the 70s and my family until 12 years ago. One or two picturesque spots but mainly run down especially along the A6 tha runs through the town.

For me it's Mousehole, and Newlyn. Lots of family holidays pretty much every year from 1979 to 1988. So happy childhood memories. Lots of history there not to mention many a brave soul lived there too. Respect.

It is staggering Fowey is not in your top 5! A truly beautiful place. Given it's not, I cannot take this list seriously. St Ives is nice, but it's just ridiculously busy. Padstow is the most overrated. Falmouth is lovely.

why does the commentary have to be in unreadable all-caps? Lower case shows us word shapes that we understand, all-caps are just tiring rectangles!

Pathetic list! So no beautiful villages away from the coast make the list. Has this grockle ever heard of Dartmoor? Arguably, Cornwall edges it on best beaches, but Dartmoor the jewel in the Devon crown!

I thought Devon was a place full of castles, luxurious palaces and red-clad horsemen blowing horns accompanied by their fox-hunting hounds. But I see that I was wrong.

Loved Cornwall, did summer-seasons in Newquay in my youth where I often swam across the tidal-river Gannel to Crantock village. I crossed every day with a large dog called Cracker who was the pet of the hotel where I worked. You had to judge it right and he actually saved my life once when I misjudged the power of the tide and had to hang on to the scruff of his neck and then urged him on to "pull'. Bless him, still love him to this day. Might not be here without him.
