Southport is my old home of nearly 30 yrs ago LOVED It never wanted to leave jobs took us away It had everything from theatres to sailing to the most famous Golf courses like Royal Birkdale parks and gardens Fun fair fabulous town centre with Victorian arcades and wide boulevard that Napoleon was said to base his re-building of Paris on. It has suffered from its removal from Lancashire into Merseyside It'a a grand dame that deserves more respect
