I understand you so well about traveling alone ! Exactly. In the past, I frequently went to restaurants alone, because then you have the full attention and awareness to your food, to actually fully enjoy the food, instead being engaged in socialising and talking and at the end see that your plate is empty and you wonder where it has gone so quickly... And you are a very good advertisement for Reunion, looking like a tropical pretty and good princess... Wonderful etnic mix !!!

L'orangerie (st dennis) is easily the best restaurant a la Reunion! It's not cheap but it's well worth it... Changing of staff just reminds me of cafe edouard. They change staff every 20 mins, but i doubt they have ever changed the beer lines. Which is such a shame because it's in the perfect place!
