So I have a question looking for the cruise control switch for my 1990 k1500 and noticed there are two different ones the g20 is the cheaper than the oem and I believe that’s the one you used just wondering how it worked for you any answers will help

Dang good video 👍 I just rebuilt my motor and so I ordered new clam shell motor mounts, went to put those on today before droping the motor in, removed the tire, took one good look at the upper and lower control arms bushings etc and was like nope not today and put the tire back on😂 Everything is toast and needs to be replaced and the only way I can get the motor mounts installed is by removing the lower control arms ,poor design. So I guess I'm dropping a motor, installing new upper and lower control arms and motor mounts at the same time smh. Question for you, are these rebuilt control arms or new? If they are new are they as thick as the original control arms? While I'm at it I should do the springs and shocks as well. Thanks 👍

Found some upper arms at a part yard. Just did inner and outer tie rod ends. Need an alignment pretty bad and figure i have the tabs in place. Figure ill do tabs and control arms in one swoop. Thank you!

Not sure, due to the Kong X Port of my supercharger and other mods along with the fact that e85 access isn’t near my location.. I had it tuned on 93 and there wasn’t enough fuel system support left to do e85 which is okay for now. 766rwhp stock pump, injectors -no meth -

@@Boostlee2023 I have finally gotten it fixed after multiple attempts. I moved from a 3/8 nptf fitting to an 1/2” nptf 6an. Tapped the hole bigger and fresh and has not leaked since almost a month. Fingers crossed. Other than the leak I havent had any other issues

Any ideas on why one side would be sitting higher than the other after this? I made sure both springs were set in the pocket on the lower control arm and both control arms were torqued while the car was at resting height.

@@patrickkennedy5452 yes, one of my springs got caught on the upper(top) inside flange that lines up with the inner part of the spring. I noticed it as I was compressing it on the install. I suggest you recheck everything for this type of issue and any other such as a weak coil spring or incorrect parts or install error. Hope that helps!

I love these obs. My 98 has 265,500 miles and still takes a 2500 elevation hill with no issues. I want another one. Mine is a short bed single cab with a 305 5.0 vortec which was totally underrated, When they were first built, they made 230 hp funny thing is the 454 made the same but cost more because of the trim and black paint and red interior , anyway it was pretty good for the time. I had a square body 84 GMC. I hate that I sold for 1500 6 years ago. Now, the damn thing is worth 5,000 to 20,000 or more when restored or modified, but so are the 88-98 Chevy,GMC obs mines was even stolen one time, thank you Jesus I got it back a few days later and intact nothing missing but the battery and antenna.

I had to swap out powersteering gearboxes again. Leaking again. This time I paid a little more for a redhead gearbox and I can honestly say it’s the very best quality you will find in a rebuilt unit. It’s been around 6 months and it’s still perfect. 👍

How can I move the brake lines without taking the bed off ? Can I access the lines from the other side?
