There are some amazing lookout's up there that's for sure. About 20-50m down from Lookout Point there is another little one, I think that is actually the official one where as where you stopped was a Hang Glider Launch. Had a mate in a 2wd Ranger down there at the end of Winter. He got in & out ok but you need clearance for sure. How was Taylors Rd with the Lantana? Last time I drove it the road was covered in it. Kyes Lookout, I've never heard of that one so would be interested to know the location. Track looks interesting though so I will be going with someone else lol.

I'm suprised no one has made a heating element that is under the RTT to help evaporate condensation. Like how some people bathrooms have heated floors. I know they do this for warmth on their feet vs condensation in bathroom. However I know this would help when you can turn on and off.

Great job on the wagon conversion. The centre diff lock is not like the diff locks that we are use to hearing about. It does not lock the cross axle diffs but rather the front and rear axles so that they get 50% torque each. In regards to payload, the Defender actually has one of the best payload, especially for a wagon and for coils. It is actually on par with a Toyota single cab 79 series (after you add a tray). Also Australia did not get the crew cab Defender in a 110 until much later, so there would not be many TD5s as a crew cab, pretty cool. The Xtreme edition had a few differences to the standard Defenders. These differences varied quite a lot but some came with alloy rims, Traction Control, ABS, Metallic Paint(which looks great but doesn't fair very well in the aussie sun, air con, side steps, LR factory bullbar and towbar, later ones usually had electric windows, and of course the sticker. The motor is 5 cylinder engine which was quite different to the prior and next models which were 4 cylinders.

I bought a Kings Rooftop tent and it completely broke due to wind resistance while driving combined with poor manufacturing. Initially in one email they made up a story about the damage appearing to have occurred because of how I dismounted the tent (despite me having shown photos of the damage whilst still mounted and the fact that I only dismounted the tent because of the damage). My warranty claim was then rejected based on another false allegation that I misused the tent regarding the transit straps and cover, for which there are no instructions in the user manual. My experience is poor quality design and a company that makes up scenarios to avoid responsibility. I would stay clear of all of the Kings Rooftop tents and other products
