It’s a great book, it’s just way too verbose. The devil is negative thoughts and emotions that lead to negative actions and negative consequences. The devil is not some furry demon with a pitchfork. The devil is much more terrifying than some ridiculous personification of evil. There, I have told you what the entire book is going to tell you. Good stuff, no doubt, but fairly sophomoric if you’ve been on this journey for a while.
