I think this trash talk is really gonna pump the fight plus Canelo & Bumlanga going to all these relevant hip hop interview shows. It really takes this back to the 90’s we’re the buildup was as exciting as the fight itself. Canelo fought many opponents that were way smaller and older. Do not make any excuses why Benavides does not deserve a title shot against Canelo. The mandatory status will eventually force Canelo to face Benavides at 168. Canelo will choose to fight Benavides or the WBC will strip the title. The boxing fight needs to happen for the fans. Last, Benavides clearly won his last fight at 175. But that is irrelevant regarding the mandatory fight between Canelo at 168.
