Great video. I use cocktail sticks. They’re really good for small chips, when adding paint. 👍

It’s rust not corrosion, Corrosion happens on aluminium, rust occurs on the type of steel used for cars.

Product works great... I've used Turtle Wax Zip Wax for 20 years and ended up trying this because Walmart was sold out of my usual... I couldn't believe the results... this is all I use now... works great on the boat, car, truck, lawnmower, and even shined and beaded up my school bus like it was just waxed... love the rain x effect on the windows... makes driving in rain much easier and allows me to just hose of each vehicle instead of washing every week or so.

I really don't understand this design, why not just design it so the window clears without going down a bit? It screams just problem waiting to happen.

So at the 4 minute 22nd mark you use the 2000 grit sandpaper I was wondering are all the other times you were using sandpaper prior to this the 3000 grit? And then one other question if you don't have one of those buffer DeWalts can you just use your hand with one of those pads?

I buy this by the gallon now for $.018 an ounce. I don't use it every time I wash the car but it keeps beading even after using another product that doesn't have Ceramic in it for the maintenance washs.

I LOVE this stuff! I ordered a gallon of it off Amazon. It beads water like crazy and last a LONG time. Just never let it dry, as a matter of fact I recommend doing one panel at a time. I foam my car with Turtle Wax MAX-Power Car Wash, let it dwell a few minutes, then rinse it off. Then I fill my foam cannon with the Armour All Ceramic Foaming Car Wash Soap with Extreme Shield, it smell SO good, then foam and contact wash each panel at a time. I don't know how long it last, I don't use it every time I wash the car, but I've used it 2x on my car and it's still going strong after 4 months.

I feel like this taught me everything I need to know to fix a few chips in my vehicle’s paint without spending a ton of money. I can’t wait to get started! I’ll probably get carried away and polish the whole car…. Edit: I’m reading lots of comments from people who clearly know more about bodywork than I do, raving about what a great video this is. I’m so glad I came to the right place first.

Tip: DON'T DO THIS. Just touch up with a bit of paint and leave it. DON'T SAND IT and DON'T MESS WITH THE CLEARCOAT, especially if you have a newer car. Thanks to this video, I burned my clearcoat and now need a respray at a body shop. I barely touched it with a 1500. The clearcoat layer is very thin on newer cars.

I was worried when he started sanding. I do this professionally and the way I learned was by screwing up. With the wrong pressure from your hand you can burn through that clear in a heartbeat. Not to be negative but this is also a straight white color.....not black, pearl or metallic. This will not work on metallic because the chips will not be laying flat. There is a reason this was done on white.....it hides very well. Lastly the color is spot on.....that was the first thing I noticed. There are variations on colors, (except black) and because I have been doing this for 25 years I can usually start pretty close to the original but most times you need to mix more than once to get the correct color.
