All i wanna know is after calculating the distance when you aim at a target does the red dot pop up where you should aim to hit the target?

Hello, Yes... the aiming dot will illuminate at its holdover point for the ranged distance.

Can you be more specific how this thing turns on and off. Also if the battery is removed does it lose the truing points that are stored?

To turn the sight on you press the ranging button, the scope will auto off at 10 minutes, 90 seconds for the screen to go to sleep. The scope will not loose its truing points if the battery is removed.

Can you set it up for 20-50 yards I have no interest in shooting farther than that

Possibly, that depends on the crossbow that you are using. If you are using an older crossbow with a lower FPS of <=250 FPS then yes. If you have a more modern crossbow with speeds exceeding 400 FPS then definitely no. You will need to set your truing points starting at 40 yards, then 60, 80, 100 yards.

You will need at least two truing point. I would do 30 & 40. You should be ok. I you see variations at distance, you can always add two more truing points.

I have a GLFA AR10 in 7mm Remington. Will the recoil be too much? Is there ballistic data to match?

No, the recoil will not be too much. The ballistic data is dependent on the exact cartridge or handload that you use. These parameters, can be choses under factory loads in the BurrisConnect app, or you can manually enter any data, including factory loads if they are not currently available in out list.

Any reason the name doesn’t show up in my HUD after I change the table name? It still shows “Burris Veracity Ini Table” after I’ve updated the bullet name and Bluetooth is connected

The name that displays in the scope is under your Bullet Profile name. Switch that to what ever you want the display to read, then reupload the data.

Possibly, this will complete depend on the performance of the crossbow, the arrow weight/flight performance, and field point/broadhead weight.

Absolutely, Coyotes can still exhibit distress outside of put-rearing seasons. Pup distress calls are a go-to year round for me.

Awww yes. The Do-All gun buggy. I believe they have been discontinued for a few years now. You would be hard pressed to find one at a retailer these days.

Integrated laser rangfinder combined with compensated illuminated aiming dot is a genious idea. this is a true game changer. I guess it will also equip the military at some point seeing how effective it seems.

I have a version one BTS 50 and have it on the Cantalever mount for a bolt action rifle. In time when I upgrade to the V3 will the mount in the video come far enough back on a bolt action to provide clarity, eye relief, and no space between eye and scope? Or is there an updated Cantalever mount for this model for bolt actions?

Hello Patrick. The integral mount works in the same fashion as the old cantilever mount. You can adjust the mount to work on bolt action rifles with ease.

They range to 2000 yards..they don't say how far you can shoot with it. Most hunters won't shoot unethical shots but want to target shoot. To me 1000 yards is the best it will do .my opinion

Hi Roy, We don’t specify a distance because it varies depending on the cartridge. The reticle features 177 LEDs, spaced 1/6 MOA apart, totaling 29.5 MOA. If your cartridge has a drop of 29.5 MOA at 1,000 yards, that could be a guideline, but some cartridges perform better than that. I agree that ethical hunters shouldn’t take shots at 1,000 yards. That’s why we also include the shot call marker. You can input an ethical foot-pounds of energy value into the scope. For instance, it’s recommended to have at least 1,600 ft-lbs of energy to ethically harvest an elk. If you’re trying to shoot an elk at 1,200 yards with a 6.5 Creedmoor, the scope will display "Too Far" with a red X in the HUD. This alerts you that the cartridge lacks sufficient energy for an ethical shot, encouraging you to move closer.

do the rings screw already have a thread locker applied to them, do they need some to be applied, or is thread locker not required because of the polymer insert. what is your recommendation?

Do the turrets on that scope lock in place? Like the push pull system of your other scopes. I am wondering if the electonics fail or something, I wouldn't want to be accidentally moving the top turret and then trying to shoot something.

Do you have a 0 MOA base or are you using a canted rail. If you are using a canted rail, you will need to turn off the inclination compensation in the app and upload those details. That should allow your turret to read 100 yards.

Sky, Can you offer me some assistance? I have all my dope information in correctly and have uploaded to the scope. I am shooting 5 inches high from the bulls eye at 300 yards. My rifle is an Alamo Precision Arms and shoot sub half MOA with my reloads at 100 yards. I have Garmin chrono and that is what I have used to gather my bullet speed. I have a 20 MOA rail so I have turned off my inclination in the app (Customer Service told me to do that). The only thing I can think of is that the 20 MOA rail is messing with the dope?? I have tried to look and see if anyone else is having this issue and could not find anything on the forums out there. I have spoken with your customer service 2 different times and still having the issue. So so frustrated, please help! Regards Mike

You can make the Eliminator 6 work for practically any round as long as you know your ballistic coefficient (BC), muzzle velocity, and weight (gr).

You do need to have a phone to use the scope to its fullest. You upload ballistics via our Burris Connect app.
