No, it is a hold value. The read out in the top right corner will tell you how many dots to hold dependent on the distance and magnification that the scope is set at.

Hello, Yes... the aiming dot will illuminate at its holdover point for the ranged distance.

Operating temperatures range from -4 F to 110 F. You will get roughly 3000 depresses of the ranging button within those parameters. Anything outside of those parameters will cause the batteries to fail.

Great scope except in low light. The digital yardage meter is too bright causing a glare in the scope. Burris says there's no way to turn it off or dim the brightness

Hello Ronnie, You can choose what is illuminated in your HUD and for how long in the App settings.

No, it is just the elevation. There is a reticle tree for wind holds.
