I just moved back into my house with very limited space. I’m tying to figure out where to store my fresh vegetables, potatoes, onions, apples, etc. I wonder if this may be a solution since I only keep a small supply pf produce on hand.

After failing at spring planting and container garlic, I'm doing it right this year with fall planting in a raised bed. Being from Scranton, 6b, this information was very helpful. I'm trying Siberian Red. Thanks for the sharing the information.

I have two 50lb and 60lb dogs, so to make things easier, I chop all the vegetables in the food processor and then cook them in with the meat. I batch cook once every two weeks, easy, and only one pot to clean! Thanks for the great video

I have 'cooked' for my dogs for 20+ years. I had a young, wonderful dog with cancer and I took her home "to die"... for 15 years. I put her on whole, raw food and she lived an amazing life. I now feed a cooked meal to accommodate my family. I have phenomenally healthy dogs. I even make their treats. I keep anything that I make for the family that would be good for the dog in bags in the freezer, then instant pot it when I have enough. I save carrot peels, broccoli stem, every extra zucchini ever, anything healthy. Yesterday's pots were chicken and salmon. Everyone gives me carcasses, the butcher sells me cuts, cheap. I do put grains in my dog's foods.

Im curious as to how it turned out? I was taught to make sure no green was on flowers. It causes contamination and bitterness. From what I was told. I have never tried any that was fermented with bottoms still attached so I am not sure.

I grew mine in a 24" deep raised bed with loose, 'homemade' compost & had little runt sweet potatoes. 🤷🏼‍♀️ We had the hottest summer on record and are still in drought conditions, so that may have contributed to their lack of vigor. The vines themselves were a massive jungle; would pruning the tips of the vines help with the growth of the tuber underground?
@wellfolkrevival704
@wellfolkrevival704 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Yes Pruning may help them. More nutrients will go into the tuber rather than the vines. We keep ours trimmed back so they stay in the row.

We do use ash, manure, wood chips, and a small amount of sea salt at the very beginning of spring. I will have to share more on soil soon. that is the starting point for thriving vegetables with little pests and disease.

I do not but will do one in the spring/summer when we plant. A slip is grown from a sweet potato as the plant for next seasons crop. You can grow them or but them from local greenhouses.
