You cook mussels too long be tough & chewy..I find if you cook the sauce first & put the mussels in before serving

Good video, but you could lower the volume of the music as we are much more interested in what you have to say. Links to both presses are dead. Also would have like to seen you use them. Thanks Joe

Another great video. I have a Weber Q to and love cooking Nando’s chicken on it. Something you may want to try is use an oven grate and sit it ontop of the cast iron grate. Leaving a gap between the two. Check the lid still closes nicely. The reason for this is the cast iron grate now takes the roll of charcoal and as the fat and juice render they drip onto the cast iron grate grate making smoke and create great braai flavour . Also if you can get the Weber q rotisserie go for it. It works first time, every time. I’m enjoying you videos, cheers A

Cracking Braai ! I’m interested in the brand of that braai spice. Who makes it? also did you try make it your self with the recipe in your description and if so how did it compare to the branded mix. Great detail . Thanks from a capetownion living in wales.

I usually buy the mixes from a local market as it is quick and easy. I do play with some spice mixes from time to time, but I admit the ease and the awesome flavor of the premixed spices are worth it. Rather spend some more time grilling. You can drop me an email on the channel mail and I will forward the spice details on to you. Thank you very much for watching. All the best from a sunny Cape Town.

What can I use other then wine?
@fortheloveofgrilling76245 жыл бұрын
Aron Schultz in reply to your question.. I have never made it with anything other than wine. But you can use the following substitutes: White grape juice: Use white grape juice as a substitute when you want to add sweetness. For a punchier substitute, try mixing a tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice per cup of grape juice. White wine vinegar: This is an ideal substitute for dry white wine. Made from white wine, white wine vinegar has many of the same flavor characteristics, minus the alcohol. Chicken or vegetable stock: Substitute stock for white wine when you want to add depth of flavor to a dish. For extra flavor, try mixing a tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice per cup of stock. I hope you find this helpful. Thank you very much for watching!
