Knot test is to see how much the product has absorbed. The looser the knot, the less the product has absorbed. Closed cuticles are in their unprocessed state, adding the chemicals raises the cuticles making the hair more stretchy and malleable, making a tight knot.

I had fluff because she did keratin at the bottom! The rest doesn’t get fluffy unless you wash it, it just gains more body and you straighten it back to normal!

If you are a kinky natural and do this, I HIGHLY recommend you do a seek and destroy mission on single strand knots (ssk)!! Just cut them out, even if they are high up on the hair strand. Your hair will grow out so fast, so dont worry. Ssk damage the strand and rub against hair around it. Once ALL of the ssk are out of your hair the comb glides through completely easy and your hair basically doesnt tangle. It's amazing!

This is better than relaxers cause cream can go into your scalp unlike relaxers it burns your scalp we call in rebonding treatment and it is permanent straight but bad thing is if your hair growfast need touch ups and only in west it's pricy for Asia aleast 20 to 70 dollars depends on the length of the hair.

When you wash it do you have to flat iron it again or does it dry straight.
@KheizlinaDanial3 жыл бұрын
Mostly asian country called it rebonding and it has been in the market over 20 years because I have been doing for 20 years. Of course over the years the formula getting better protecting your hair. Please don't be fool when they say permanent straight. Yes it permanently straighten your hair but not the new growth. It depending on how fast your new growth grow. Some need to retouch every 3 months & some every 6 months. After few going to the salon to do this, almost 15 years I do it myself. But you need to experience with the salon and see how they do it, how the do the knot test. Do it yourself need you to have good flat iron, not the cheap one. And you need to maintain your hair like always conditioner, serum, hair mask. So far i didn't loose many hair nor I have bald patch. In Asia (I live in Malaysia) relaxer doesn't require flat iron. Rebonding require flat iron. That's the difference as far as I know. Rebonding very famous in my country for many many years.
@KomoyaK2 жыл бұрын
Correct it’s permanent to the hair you already have and not new growth seeing it can’t change your follicle from within! Thank you for sharing your experience! 🤍

I find it weird that I have never seen a follow up video. How weird. Does the hair break ? Become really dry ??
@KheizlinaDanial3 жыл бұрын
I've been doing it for 20 years. Started when i was 26 & now I'm 46. I have very thin hair and many says that my hair gonna break or i will lost a lot of hair. But for 20 years, my hair still intact. Never had any bald patch. I don't even have grey hair yet ( i don't dye my hair). I will do this every 6 months because it wasn't curly like on the video. Just messy waves that make my hair look like a lion. Eventhou now I have short hair i still rebonding it (that's what asian country call it) and manage to have fringe. Main thing after you doing it you meed to take care of your hair like how you take care on your skin. Always use conditioner, serum, hair mask. Don't blow dry your hair too often. If you need it then set the heat to low. My hair never dry after doing this. Now days the formula protect the hair very well. Btw, i did myself at home after few years going to salon. You some how pick up the trick to test your hair and just follow the instruction on the lotion & neutraliser packages.
