The Hinsons were a fantastic group also, in the same caliber. Both groups were talkative, kind, and willing to share the stage and offer some advice and thoughts from there years of experience. There were a lot of fantastic groups at that time.

I heard the song after my 3 year old son passed of cancer. I tell myself he just had higher priorities than staying here with us. I cry every day, but I do have hope and comfort knowing that he is with Jesus, and I will see him again. 💔

I have the wonderful privilege of being friends with one of the last surviving member of the Florida Boys from that era. Tommy Atwood, he’s still living and praising God every day. Known the family for over 35 years and love each and every one of them. Love to sit and talk with him about those days when gospel music could be heard everywhere. I was raised on the jubilee every Sunday morning and still cherish those memories
