I'm not Russian but if you watch local female Russian figure skating competitions you can easily see that those girls are in another league above any other in the whole world. They are simply not allowed to enter international competitions unfortunately.

If we are talking about senior 17+ y.o. skaters - it's not "another league". Majority of russian adult women skaters in local competitions are more or less on the same level as international adult women skaters - if not weaker. It was the main reason ISU raised the age limit - and it works. Therefore if/when Russia will return to international scene - it wouldn't pose serious threat of podium swipes except pair skating maybe. They still will be dominating junior competitions probably - but who cares about juniors? Most likely ISU will think something up to fix it though - for example ban junior quads etc.

✔ ~ Феномен Hanyu Yuzuru - уникальное явление, не только в истории фигурного катания, но и всего спорта в целом. Как только начнёшь размышлять об этом - и сразу все мысли в разные стороны, и с центробежной силой. Понять непостижимо. Такие же вопросы, на которые нет ответов. Большой взрыв ; почему именно на Земле появилась жизнь ; и пр. и пр. Так что вопрос о его феномене лежит именно в такой экзотической плоскости, в моём понимании. И всё же восхитительно, что он существует этот феномен. Одно желание : чтобы он продолжался как можно дольше.

I wish this new appeal would put this terrible period of witch-hunt to the end. Judges come to their common senses, do not let the hostile propaganda against Russia influence their final verdict and they can serve reeducation in case of a minor athlete, whose privacy rights were totally abused during the whole preliminary process.

The commentator for these videos is so biased -- she seems to think that no one can skate except Russians. Untrue ! Kaori is competitive and so consistent and artistic, even without ultra-C elements. Isabeau is incredibly graceful on the ice, similar to Kamila, but without quads. Of course, Kamila has lost all her ultra-C elements at the moment, at least. Mone Chiba is a very gifted up and coming Japanese skater. And Japan, the USA and South Korea have deep pools of talent among the women. Eteri's skaters lose their ultra-C elements by age 17, and so many then retire. What a tragedy ! Amber just won the Grand Prix final at age 25. The young female skaters in Russia would do well to emulate the Empress, Tuktamysheva.

There are of course other good skaters whom you have mentioned. But they can't even come close to Valieva' performances. Kamila is on another level. Who saw her gracious skating , artistic hand movements, body language, facial expressions know it. While others just seem to execute a task, - except Tuktamysheva- Kamila is living, shining, thriving on the ice . She is a ballerina. Even without Ultra C she is competitive with the above mentioned starlets and the Russians as well. So this is not bias. Just compare the different performances and you will see it yourself. Do not believe in hostile propaganda.

５回転に１番近いのが羽生結弦さんナンだと云う事実で仕様。今だ机上の理論で有るにしても現実にする事が出来る身体を持って居るのが弓弦クンのみです。そしてその前に 華麗なる本当の４Ａを近いうちに魅せてくれる筈です、期待してまちます。綺麗に跳び上がり空中で４回半回って降りて着床し、手を拡げて微笑んてくれるのが視たいです❤❤😊😊😊

I think it is abhorrent that the ISU is punishing athletes for political things out of their control. All they want to do is skate. They are watching their dreams slip away. The ISU wants to hurt the country and think this will make leaders change but all it does is hurt the athletes. Very sad.

Valieva was supposed to be a protected person. She was also the recipient of abuse. The punishment was excessive and unconscionable. Shame on the CAS. If their hands were tied by the rulebook then change the rules. There is insufficient flexibility for mitigating circumstances and of all things... compassion. The protection of minors should always be the highest priority...

WOW 😲 Su cuerpo perfectamente fuerte , para nada inclinado. Un aterrizaje perfecto.. No sé mucho de los términos de patinaje pero ese salto fue perfecto... Su cuerpo elegante y con una clase magistral... Su cuerpo es el más hermoso para el patinaje artístico...es tan agradable a la vista.. mirarlo es un deleite... Once during Hanyu-san's competitive career one TV commentator said during his performing Hana va Saku that she has never met such a philosophical figure skater. Echoes of Life is for sure more profound philosophy by a Genius created based on figure skating but including non-verbal acting, contemporary dance, magical costumes and some visual effects building so an unique performance by one and only Hanyu-san. He is 30 but is still looking as a teenager, forever young in soul and body due to his hard training praxis on and off ice capable therefore to improve his limitless abilities as Athlet and Artist beyond immagination.

I remember one TV commentaitor once said during Hanyu-san's performing Hana va Saku as a competitiv skater that in her long career she has not encounter such a philosophycal skater. Echoes of life is more profound philosophy created by a genius and turned into an unique performance including not only fundamental figure skating but adding also non-verbal acting, contemporary dance, magical costumes and some video effects building in such a way a masterpiece beyond immaginatiom by one and only Hanyu-san who is 30 but looks like a teenager, fotever young in soul and bofy due to his hard training praxes on and off ice.

Petrosian will be WAY too old to be competitive by Milan/Cortina 2026. Eteri's students fizzle out by 16 or 17, so unless Adelia is taking puberty blocking meds, she will be out of the running by February 2026. Russia's best hope would be a thinner, stronger Valieva. She would need as a minimum a 3A; a quad would be very, very helpful. Valieva is a genius of movement and grace. But she needs A FEW ultra C elements to be competitive.

Adelia is already 17. She is genetically small, just like her mom, who's even smaller. Adelia will be fine.

Kamila - a minor- should never have been punished the way the Wada, CAS and ISU did it. Not to mention the Swiss Supreme Court either. It is a SHAME of "so called impartial" judgement of international organizations and of the olympic movement. Although hypocrite FFKR speak they do now, they had their own role in this shameful process. (And I am not sure they do not change their attitude under international pressure again) If we think about other sportsmen' s cases ( chinese swimmers, IGA Swiantek, Yannick Sinner e.g.) can't we call the judgement in case of Kamila biased and disproportional? So what's going on here? SCANDAL
