No, I hadn't even considered that, I have just expanded what I could as I could afford it. I bought a 50 foot tower a few weeks ago to put up and use as a camera tower so I can cover the sky for meteors and sprites. Look for that video for some awesome sprites from yesterday morning. To be perfectly honest I was considering not bothering anymore because I was starting to doubt whether people had any interest in the fireballs I was posting at all, so thanks for the comment. It gives me something else to consider.

Thanks, and yeah, I had that in mind after the first two shots, :) But it will take some searching because I love the bass and concussion that goes with fireworks and many mics mute that, I need to find a mic (or two ) that can do that because sound, like music can nearly alone make a video or movie what it is. This was a last minute idea so there were a few things I want to change ,I needed to be back away a bit further as well to leave it stationary. Any mic recommendations that wont break the bank?

I am usually on top of this stuff, I had no freaking idea it was coming. I just noticed it on my south security camera. I ran out with my phone camera about the time it faded for a few seconds so thinking it was done went back in too soon. These two videos are just pulls from my security system.

I didn't install it yet, it was pointless as a single hundredth of a volt would have pushed the unit into safe mode. I got a replacement unit in but the wind sensor seemed to be bad as well, the unit works fine without it but will not be wind safe at all, so between all that and the fact it was so sloppy with extremely loose tolerances, the bad bolts etc the wind would eventually rip it apart regardless so I took it down as a complete waste of money. I will see about experimenting with removing the slop and strengthening the arm that has ripped off for many when it warms up this spring to see if i can make it useful at all

How do you set it to go to the east ??? Mines always goes back to the west it over extends and breaks the actuator !

As i stated if the board is bad it has a stray voltage already there that is just a couple of hundreds of a volt short of maxed out so you could run it but it would be without any wind protection because if you hook that up an ant farts worth of a breath would push out over the 1 hundredth of a volt of play you had and put it in safe mode.

Somewhat in that they may well just be up-scaling lesser resolution cameras at the cost of destroying resolution and clarity. yeah.

Do you have an option for XVI control? (been too long, cant remember) Should be "automatic" under Automatic / Color / Black and white. Its likely in the cameras themselves. Maybe their menus?

That's part of the problem is I can't access the camera menu's, I just don't see them, and I don't know how to get to them.

Far worse than 720P. They know it too, thats why they used all of their accounts to down vote the video hoping that no one will see a true review on their trash. I need to get around to updating on the floureon I ended up keeping as well because while the picture was better the unit and cameras are failing often.

That might be the case if the cameras, all four of them didn't work just fine on other systems but they do.

Via a flash drive. Forgot the exact menu method as it was returned but you are looking for the export menu that might have been on the playback menu. This and the Floureon I kept were similar but not the same. There is another export option in there but it was only for the configuration file. You can search for specific files related to alarms or manual recording etc. Select them and copy them to your USB and then to the computer. They have the option of selecting H264 and AVI format for the file. You would likely have to add H264 codecs to the computer if you haven't yet to view those. One of these two add some codecs to the USB to view. May have been the ZOSI but I downloaded another to use. I don't know of a way to transfer via the network. Not to say it doesn't exist but I haven't looked into that .
