Disney need to get their shit together? are y'all serious. The only thing I wish Disney would do is tell those "fans" to f*** off. Some of these fans are so damn toxic they hate everything but the original two films. I dont include ROTJ because the fans were that thrilled about it I wish some of the fans would really move on from the franchise.

8:12 You can't have an argument with the Emperor just like that as it will be seen as an attack on the sovereignty of the Empire. Mon Mothma is just a senator, nothing more. Even in the Expanded Universe, she was considered a minor character with just a few minutes on screen that had no significant impact other than her punchline. Not even Bail Organa which was one of the major opposing figures against the Emperor's policies dared to challenge His Majesty instead decided to work against the policies of the Empire in secret until the "declaration of rebellion" as seen in Rogue One.

Star Wars Fandom is one of, if not, the worst fandom i’ve ever joined in my entire life, i couldn’t even enjoy any star wars content especially if it’s Star Wars Episode 7-9, plus the fans who are hating the sequel trilogy are so annoying asf that they literally act like acknowledging something from the sequel trilogy is a sin, i understand the hate of sequel trilogy but, these fans acting like these are bunch of crybabies, don’t get me started to the fans who bullied the actors and some shit they did in the past

Imo, the red screen when Baker is close to dying isn't a health regeneration system but more of the player being suppressed (unless you get burned by fire). I remember when I was 8, Baker's helmet got shot off and I was instanly in a critical state meaning I need to get tf down. Like Uncharted with Nate's luck ending on one bullet (grey screen), Baker's luck would end from one shot. Examples of said luck is when the bridge got destroyed and a beam almost impales Baker, surviving a tank shot that killed Leggett, surviving the mortar strike giving him the scar and the least amount of damage out of everyone in the cafe and lastly when the glass roof of the hospital caught a bomb just before hitting him. It's the same with 3rd squad, you'll be notified that they're under fire/suppressed and if one bullet hits them, they're down until the next checkpoint. This is just how I think the red screen works, you don't have to agree since this is just a subjective take on it.

"ANDOR" certainly had its highlights. I admired the excellent performances from a cast led by the very talented Diego Luna. I thought showrunner Tony Gilroy's portrayal of a corrupt and violent Galactic Empire seemed pretty spot on. In fact, Gilroy's portrayal of the galaxy at this point in the timeline pretty much matched his, Chris Weitz and director Gareth Edwards' portrayal of the galaxy in "ROGUE ONE". "ANDOR" also featured issues that I either found questionable or simply did not work for me. The season's narrative structure of a group of three (or four) episodes per arc barely worked for me. I say barely, because the arcs still managed to form one season-long arc. But it did so in a way that some of the episodes felt like mere padding. I found the season finale, "Rix Road" a bit anti-climatic. Despite the big speech and the riot, Cassian Andor had played no role in these events. He spent most of the episode attempting to free his friend from Imperial forces in a sequence that featured very little action. "Rix Road" had paused its narrative to convey Maarva Andor's pre-recorded speech against the Empire. But this was not the first time something like this happened. Two or three times, the series paused the story in order for a character to give this great speech or monologue on the evils of fascism and tyranny. This penchant of pausing the narrative for a political speech really got on my nerves. George Lucas managed to achieve the same with two lines spoken in two separate movies - Leia in "A New Hope" and Padme in "Revenge of the Sith". Following Cassian's escape from Ferrix in Episode 3, Syril Karn spent the next nine episodes developing two obsessions - finding and capturing Cassian and developing a romantic (if you want to call it that) fixation for ISB Agent Dedra Meero, while he continuously engaged in verbal combat with his domineering mother. After wasting away for eight episode, Karn learned about Maarva Andor's death and decided to travel to Ferrix to snatch Cassian. Only . . . he never encountered his prey. Not once. Instead, he ended up saving Agent Meero from angry rioters. Tony Gilroy had provided an in-depth look into Mon Mothma's private life and her efforts to keep her role as one of the Rebels' leaders a secret. To my surprise, Senator Mothma's arc came dangerously close to dominating this series . . . in which Cassian is supposed to serve as the main protagonist. The worst part - at least for me - was that her arc had no real impact on Cassian’s arc. Or had served as any kind of catalyst to Cassian’s arc during this first season. I feel that Gilroy, Lucasfilm and many critics and fans had forgotten the name of this series, which is "ANDOR"; not "THE REBEL ALLIANCE", "REBELS II" or "MOTHMA".

I have the same feelings as you. I understand why people didn’t like the last Jedi but I think the bigger issue was how poorly the 3 movies flowed together. I too enjoyed Ahsoka. BoBF was subpar. Acolyte wasn’t the best either but it wasn’t as bad as everyone made it out to be… better than something like She Hulk in my opinion.

It’s rare to find fans like you and I that can try to enjoy some things in the franchise. We may not like everything, but there is some stuff we enjoy. At least we try to give it a chance. I just wish they were more consistent with making good content.

That's the problem with some the fanbase nowadays. For some it all about the hate. That IS the attraction for them. Some people get their kicks by being a contrarian on the thing that's popular at a certain point in time.
@Analyze_This543 ай бұрын
Some people just love to hate on this franchise 24/7 and it’s sad to see. Yes, Disney is failing big time with this franchise, but picking on it constantly doesn’t help. A lot of content creators thrive on negativity and again, it’s just so sad to see.

I don't understand 'why did people raise their standards too high?' We just don't want to see unrealistic, not-believable, illogical stupid scenes and decisions. I LOVE Ahsoka series, one of my favourites, but it sure had quite a few of those. And criticism is valid. Is it really that frustrating to ask writers to write things better, use script doctors and use common sense and logic?
@BlueHooloovoo3 ай бұрын
It's Star Wars. It's a fantasy series that has no logic in reality. It doesn't obey the laws of physics or space and time. If you're okay with the prequels then you have nothing to complain about when it comes to writing.
@Analyze_This543 ай бұрын
I get what you’re saying. Personally, I don’t think Ahsoka had many issues. They wrote themselves into a corner a few times at the end, but overall I think it was a good show. Disney needs to get writers that care and actually know about the brand. There’s too many people working on this franchise that have no clue about the lore and care more about turning Star Wars into something they want it to be. The foundation of the franchise should be considered sacred, but sadly it isn’t.
@BlueHooloovoo3 ай бұрын
@@Analyze_This54 Tony Gilroy, who created Andor and Rogue One, has openly admitted he's not a Star Wars fan. Yet Andor and Rogue One are considered some of Disney's best work. Star Wars has always had people coming in and interpreting the material in different ways. Some of it works, and some of it doesn't. This has been the case throughout the entire history of Star Wars. There seems to be this unrealistic expectation by parts of the fandom that everything must be written to cater to their whims and that every story has to be something worthy of an Emmy or Oscar. If they don't like something, that's fine, but if that discourse descends into vitriol and hate, then they've made it more than just disliking something. There is so much content out there to choose from. If you don't like the Disney stuff, then there's Legends or the video games or theme parks, etc. There's stuff for every age group in this franchise.

And I think she did an excellent job as Asoka… And like I said the show was good. It was just minor things. I didn’t like about it, but for the most part that show was good … But don’t get me started on the Acolite
@Analyze_This543 ай бұрын
I still stand by my thoughts that Ahsoka is a good show, but I totally understand where you are coming from. I honestly feel the same way for the most part. Disney continues to mess up this franchise and it drives me nuts that we have one good show and then we get 2 other shows that are controversial. It’s a pattern that keeps happening and it’s getting worse. I was completely disappointed with the Acolyte.
@Jesudi25273 ай бұрын
And people are upset about the stab wound because it’s inconsistent bro you gotta admit it… I love Star Wars but now it’s like lightsaber stab wounds don’t kill unless the story dictates that it does… It’s not consistent. She got stabbed the same way Qui Gon got stabbed yet she lived he didn’t.… I don’t get bent out of shape for stupid stuff but light sabers being inconsistent is a big deal. The force being changed is a big deal when it comes to now everyone can use it. I get your gripe, but you gotta understand why other people are having issues even with the Asoka show
@Jesudi25273 ай бұрын
It’s not about being picky, bro. I’m the same way. I try not to be biased at all when I watch shows or movies, etc. but what Star Wars has pushed out is trash. if you take the Asoka show I like that show for the most part, but I wasn’t too hyped about or was upset about was the fact of what they did with the force… Now everybody can have the force, it’s making it less important if everybody can do it… It’s certain things that these writers are coming up with that are going against what Star Wars was about… You take good and bad they’re taking that away. You take the force they’re changing it…that with bad writing is why people are complaining.
@christianefiorito32043 ай бұрын
There should be at least a minimal logic ,direction and cohäsion in the starwars stories. Dialogues are terrible. Ashoka watches for 20 seconds at a time blankely tothe screen. I think it is simply no fun for me. It is aggressively mid and bland.

Yes the discourse is stupid. At this point is like those people who go on reddit to still complain about McDonald's discontinuing their Szechuan Sauce. Or worse, sometimes, it feels like a bunch of Vegans going to just some local burger joint and pouring blood on diners because eating meat is immoral, or something. The best policy is to not respond or engage with that sort.

It is absolutly insane to me how you are going to pick up a world that has years of lore, story, and worldbuilding put into it and you just decide to throw that all in the trash and disregard it completly. i mean the least you could do was play the fucking game omg that should have been a requirement. Also i dont understand what they were going for, were they trying to make it more accessible to the average person who hadnt played the game? its so stupid to me because if you had just stuck to the rules then you would have had millions of people watching it already because halo players would have watched it no questons asked. this in turn would have created even more buzz around the show and people would decide to try it. makes no sense what was going through their minds

I thought season two was significantly better than season 1 but still lacking. With that said, I think it’s the best we’re going to get because in the last 20 years there hasn’t been real talent that has wanted to work within this universe and sadly, I don’t think that day is going to come. People were quick to wish this show to die but somehow expect someone else to pick up the gauntlet. Unfortunately this most likely will not happen. The halo universe is dead folks, hope you feel good about it.
@Analyze_This543 ай бұрын
We definitely should have gotten a better product and it is reasonable for us to expect that. There’s no excuse for fumbling the bag like this when it comes to a franchise that has been loved for over 20 years. It shouldn’t be that hard to make something good with a franchise that has great source material like Halo.
@Com3atmebra3 ай бұрын
@@Analyze_This54 it’s not reasonable to expect it. You act like here’s an infinite amount of talent lining up to build their own more accurate and intense version of the universe. The franchise peaked in 2008 and this is the best we got. We could be critical and demand the show get better and it did, but to outright wish it to die and go away was a mistake. There are many shows that don’t get their stride until the 3rd season. It was obvious the writers were listening to the fans.
@Analyze_This543 ай бұрын
If the writers were listening to fans then Master Chief would never take his helmet off, strip, and have sex lol. People wanted a fun story that was lore accurate. This was an uneducated writers’ version that ignored 90% of what makes Halo so popular.
@Com3atmebra3 ай бұрын
@@Analyze_This54 The last time I checked the the master chief wasn’t a mandalorian? Did you even read the books? Because The master chief took his helmet off on occasion. I agree with you about the sex but that also took place during the 1st season…the writers drastically improved upon the 1st season which would imply the writers were listening to the fans, they practically erased the last episode in the first season.
