Everyone should see this. It's one thing to "know" that people are treated unfairly, it is an entirely different thing to see it and realise the extent of the exploitation.

Brilliant Documentary, I’ve only been collecting for 2 years or so and I’m addicted. Nothing will ever compare to Vinyl. It’s the way music was meant to be heard. I will pass my collection down to my children and hopefully they will pass it on to their children.

i am really grateful for this documentary, because I did not realize the full impact an "innocent" shopping trip can have. This is calling me to change the way I shop.

All this sad things are going to happen everywhere on earth if a nations loses control . It's not always all about money but people don't permit themselves to get a closer look. The best possible education for everybody ( without racial bias) would make a better world. But proper education lasts always as a priveligr of wealthy citizens and that's why nothing changes.

HELLO CRATE DIGGER'S!!!! I'M GONNA SAY THIS, I'VE BEEN A COLLECTOR OF WAX SINCE THE LATE NINETIES. UP UNTIL A FEW YEARS AGO I'VE COME INTO VIEW OF A STRANGE CAST OF PEOPLE CALLED ",FAKE DIGGER'S". THIS BREED IS ALSO CALLED "HATER". I LIVE IN BOSTON MA. AND THESE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING AROUND ME FOR SOME TIME NOW FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. THEY HAVE A GENUINE HATE FOR PEOPLE WITH A DAMN GOOD SET OF EARS AND A "GO GETTER" ATTITUDE. THEY'RE THE TYPE TO CALL THEMSELVES "BEATING SOMEONE OUT OF A CHANCE TO DO BETTER"??? WHATEVER THE HELL THAT MEANS. LONG STORY SHORT PEOPLE, THIS KINDA THING COULD CATCH ON TO MORE HATERS OF THE CULTURE, WHICH SHOULD BE FUN TO A LOT OF US! BUT OUT THIS WAY, IT HAS BECOME A DANGEROUS WAY OF LIVING (ESPECIALLY IF YOU MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS WHILE DOING IT IN THAT WAY). A CALL TO ARMS DIGGER'S!!!! THESE CAT'S ARE SHADY, AND WILL TRY AND SUCK UP TO BIG NAMES IN BAD WAYS...WATCH YOURSELVES.

I feel incredibly guilty for being part of this awful problem for this long :( I have two daughters who I very much have also (ignorantly) made part of this problem .. How do I go about changing everything they’ve ever known when it comes to this buy, buy buy culture (like their peers) when they are already tween and early college yrs.?? 😥😥

What hurts me the most is 2 things: 1. The incidents in Bangladesh are horrific and it is very sad to see people lose their lives trying their best to earn for their families even if it's a tiny amount and then when they make any demands they get shushed up and told to keep quiet and they use violence on them making them powerless😤😤😤 2. The use of pesticides and chemicals taking a toll on children who are losing most of their childhood and suffering to impairments and mental retardation at such a young age and parents being unable to save them and feeling powerless and their last resort is waiting for the child's death. Where has this world come to😢😢😢

I'm so grateful and honored to live 20 minutes away from GLASS HOUSE RECORDS in Pomona, California. Alex Rodriguez and his staff are the COOLEST individuals on this planet! You have enriched my life and opened my heart to so much beautiful music and records, I can never stop saying "Thank you"........Thank You Alex. SPIN THE BLACK CIRCLE !!

I'm from Pomona, and live there temporarily right now, and Glasshouse Records is indeed fun, but you need at least an hour to really go through every bin. I almost always find a gem or two.

NEW PEOPLE JUST GETTING ON TO RECORD COLLECTING. DO WHAT COMES NATURAL TO YOU, YOUR EARS WILL THANK YOU GREATLY. EVERY NOW AND THEN TAKE A DIVE INTO THE UNKNOWN, AND GIVE SOMETHING YOU'VE NEVER SEEN IN THE BINS AND ON THE SHELVES BEFORE. THE JOY IN COLLECTING RECORDS IS BUILDING A COLLECTION MADE UP OF ALL KINDS OF MUSIC. ONE DAY YOU'LL BE IN THE MOOD FOR ONE THING, THE NEXT MINUTE OR DAY SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! I USED TO BE THAT GUY THAT PUT OTHER PEOPLE'S TASTE DOWN BECAUSE I THOUGHT I WAS "THE SHIT" BEING INTO UNDERGROUND HIP HOP AND THE WHOLE "DIGGING GAME". NO...THAT SHIT IS FOR "TOYS" THAT THINK THEY'RE THE SHIT. DO YOU PEOPLE. I DO THAT NOW, AND MY COLLECTION IS OUTTA RANGE FOR SOME FOLKS, AND IT'S VAST WITH ANYTHING!!!!!!!
@tonysmith58782 ай бұрын
I COLLECT ANY AND ALL, IT AIN'T ABOUT JUST FINDING " BREAKS" ANYMORE FOR ME. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE "INTERESTING AND BEAUTIFUL"!!!!!! IF IT HAS SOMETHING IN THE WAX FOR SAMPLE USE DOWN THE ROAD....GREAT. I'M 53 AND MY EARS HAVE GOTTEN BETTER WITH AGE! I HAVEN'T TOUCHED A DRUM MACHINE AS OF YET, BUT WHEN I DO....

Thrift clothing is not only a better value ,but is better quality. There is a lot of dead stock (new old clothing that was never worn) and many gently used items. New clothing is often made from poor quality materials and is poorly assembled.

This documentary is super enlightening and explained in depth a lot of the hurdles I've had to even understanding our tax system. Thank you to everyone who contributed!!! Sadly, it looks like the website mentioned at the end is no longer viable. It would be really cool to start petitions for the various tax reforms (Flat Tax, Fair Tax, Progressive Consumption Tax, etc.), add their links to the end of this documentary, widely circulate this video (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), and see how many American petition signers we can get under one roof to make some change.
