I've been researching oatmeal for breakfast. I'm diabetic and I measure my glucose with a CGM. I ignored all fast oats, flavoured oats and compared rolled oats and steel cut. I know the video/comments says there's no difference, however, eating the same meal, at the same time of morning (before eating anything else) and swapping between the two, I find rolled oats raises my glucose twice as much as steel cut does. I have both with a hard boiled egg, a slice of whole grain protein sourdough toast (Jason's) and 25g of plain cream cheese. Rolled oats increases it by 1.1 mmol/L and steel cut by only 0.6. Something to consider.

No but it works way better and way faster....... carbohydrate army cant make a dent in the truth that is now out there. Meat is the best food for humans. Its no longer a debate. And why would you want pizza when you can have a steak.... lol.

Thank you for this very informative helpful information. Before your video, I did not think about using the Lumen throughout the day, I have been using it in the late morning after I get up, but they do mention in the app that you can use it in the morning before breakfast, use it before a workout or after a workout and at the end of the day. I have been using Lumen for about 2 weeks now. I love it! It's a great investment for health and how your body uses fats and carbs. I actually do Keto, but in the app they ask you, if you like to eat all foods, fish only and no meat, vegetarian, vegan or keto. You can pick any of these choices. I really love that they do that. So far after 2 weeks, I am really learning how my body handles fat and carbs. They explain why your body is burning carbs or fats a certain way. After you get a reading, they tell you what your body might be doing, then you can tweak something a certain way. Your sleep, food, stress exercise all play a part including your mitochondria and cortisol. I think its important to write some things down, so I have been doing that. Also what you said in your video about how to get the inhaling and exhaling into the Lumen going, is so true. It's a bit tricky, but I got it after a couple of days. The whole key is when your breathe in, you inhale like when your drinking a milk shake through a straw, then fill up your lungs holding your breath 10 sec and exhale when it tells you to. Its not really that hard. If you keep a slow constant air flow it works great! They had a video on the app and I had to watch how to do it. Thanks again for your helpful information.

I made these for a week straight they’re so gooood. The only thing is I have a hard time storing them because they get like wet at the top once they’re in the fridge. I’m assuming it’s the moisture from the yogurt

Eating any sort of oats spiked my blood sugar massively. Eating full protein lowest carb meals ( carnivore ) has lower sugar levels and allowed me to get off acid reflux tablets and one of my diabetes tablets. It has also lowered my weight significantly. Full fat, full protein has been a life saver.

I’ve been borderline for a while. My A1C is now dropping. My breakfast most days now is 4 oz of lean sirloin steak, 2 eggs, and a slice of sprouted grain bread toasted with butter.

Been through it, hardest days of my life but I can tell you the one thing that has benefited me in every single aspect of my life. WALKING!!! I know it seems completely passe, redundant, obvious BUT It truly is a game changer as it HELPS for so many things. First, it lowers blood sugar substantially not just while you're doing it but all day including in your sleep. Lowers blood pressure. It also is great for digestion and circulation in general which also helps break down your food into absorbable nutrition. It's also really good for clearing lymph nodes as well as moving food through your digestive tract, naturally which diminises digestive issues like GERD, etc. It also is considered a form of meditation and has been known to decrease cortisone by a large factor. That's just a very few easy top facts , but if you look up the actual health benefits of walking, it's off the charts in terms of low buy in, heavy payout. Most importantly, you could eat more of the food you like, the more you do it. My routine is to try to walk after every meal as often as possible. Even if it's just 5 minutes or 10 minutes after breakfast. Just around the block has been shown to not only better increased digestion, blood flow, cortisone, concentration. You name it. It's really super helpful. Then at the end of the day after dinner instead of sitting down to the TV, I do a big walk somewhere between 30 minutes and an hour. I went from an 15 ac1 to 6.1 ac1 in less than 6 months (with meds still less than half of what they originally recommended), lost 50lbs. Unfortunately, I'm still struggling with depression as diabetes still super f****** sucks, as I would 100% suck a hobo's dick to be able to eat donuts again or go out for dinner without having to be that a****** who has to ask what's in every single f****** menu item other than the goddamn salad (& even them). Still, it's much better than it was at the beginning and as I said, it's the most for the least amount of effort. Just bare this in mind, our bodies were evolved over hundreds of thousands of years to walk for 10 to 15 hours a day every single day for millennias. Now we don't do it at all and wonder why we feel like s***?!? Good luck, I know how hard it is but it can get better with a minimum amount of effort.
