My dream car

I bought this Montclair in 2005 from the original owner here in Orlando Fl. My wife had issues because of no PS. It had 220,000mi when I bought it. My buyer had it painted and the engine and trans rebuilt. After it went to him in Ny. I guess you sold it the the current owner that contacted me about any information I had and I gave him the contact info for the original owner that was happy to talk to him.

The badging indicates that this has a hi-po engine. I don't believe this is a hi-po engine under the hood. Maybe at one time, not now. Beware a solid lifter engine does not run smooth because of the engine cam.

What is a 1963.5 worth? I purchased one two weeks ago not knowing anything about the car and just found out it’s a 63B. Got it for a great price and would love to learn more about the history and worth of the car but can’t find as much info on it as I was hoping for.

Shoulder belts standard equipment on all C3 Coupes beginning in 1968, optional on Convertible through 1975. These were the two piece belts with the separate lap belt. The integrated retractor 3-point belts like we are used to today began on Coupes for 1974.
