Any long term consitencies between the rings with the sleep analysis? I tried to order the R12 but it was out of stock and they sent me R6 which uses an entirely different app called EcTri but unfortunately this one does not have continuous blood oxygen measurment at all. Only sleep tracking and HR is continuous, as well as step count.

Looks great! although it's like 98% the same as my K66 Smartwatch, just a few minor design differences.

Just so you don't waste your money the blood pressure feature is extremely inaccurate. The blood glucose is extremely inaccurate and if everything else is as accurate as those two do not buy this watch. It does not follow the permissions granted by your phone. If it doesn't get the permission that it wants every time you pull the app up it's going to throw a pop up in your face every single time. If it doesn't follow the permissions of your phone who knows what data it is receiving and transmitting

Can you please compare these to see if they are actually genuine when it comes to step tracking, and other health tracking, like how the stack against apple watch.

I really wish I could, but there are just so many smartwatches coming out that I don't have time to go through all that. I've been doing it for smart rings recently, as I have enough fingers to continue wearing them after my basic reviews are done. With smartwatches, once reviewed, I need to pack each one up and make room on my arm for the next watch to be reviewed. My other arm always has my trusty FitBit Sense on it for tracking my health trends.

@SWT i understand, because i like these watches, and they all look good in paper. But do they actually do what they show correctly and accurately is a whole different thing. As you know, to cut costs and sell more, they might have the sensors but none of them will be up to the task. They might just blink and all. Since i purchased a watch recently, Layers "Anarc", it boasted some top notch specs, come to find out its just another china watch. When i compared it to an Apple watch series 9, it counted half the calories burnt and half the steps. Whoop is good in all aspects, but it is to expensive for the annual membership.

Yeah it feels like every single smartphone on the market outside of the name brands is using the same sort of mass produced OEM OS. This helps keeps the cost down there's only so much you can do with hardware when the OS is what it is.

@@VonnegutRosewater-yi4rk That's a stupid analogy. Every Android OEM puts their own spin/skin/customizations on their own devices. This is literally the exact same free OS used on a ton of different smartwatch brands. And the watch faces suck. They're basic and look like they were created by a bunch of kindergartners.

Jumping in for a second here, this device is a watch, not a phone, and it's not an Android smartwatch either. It's got a simple UI which is a bit unique in that it accounts for the addition of a real LED flashlight (usually a flashlight app only turns the screen bright white to emulate a flashlight). Something truly unique to these different OEM smartwatches are the watch faces. This particular watch, with its large size, has some of the best designed stock faces I've seen in a long time. They are actually fun to use and show off the watch quite well. Hope this helps. Check out the longer unboxing review which is up now for more info.

This time last year a bought an Android watch and shortly after having the 4300mah watch it gave me problems meaning the watch sensor started over heating and I couldn't wear the watch know longer because I was getting burns on my wrist. The seller was on Aliexpress but the wouldn't send me a prepaid label to return the watch and I asking you for places who will repaired the watch.

I don't think much has changed since then for smartwatch repair. Unlike phones where parts are common, there are way too many watch models. Perhaps Apple watch repair is possible, but not for these Android watches. Sorry.

I killed so many pogo pin conectors I gave up on my smart watch hobbie. still have 4 watches none of them work. well the batteries are just dead. 12 dead cables. I will buy one when I can get a usb-c smart watch. No I really have 12 dead cables. .... the pins always always fall out. I don't think anyone uses the watches as much as I did. Otherwise they would have hed to fix the issue.

WONDERFUL WONDERFUL VIDEO!!!!! No one else goes slow enough for me to figure out where they are. U r very clear what u r pressing to get to next screen!!!!!!!! Thank u so much. Can u go over “CARDIO AGE” and explain all that to us. PLEASE. Once in there u have VO2, resting heart rate and last HRV. My hrv says poor. Again thank u so much for going slowly and being VERY CLEAR on where u r pressing to go to different screens. Thank u and looking forward to more of your videos.

I'm late to the party when it comes to commenting on this watch, but for anyone thinking of buying I would counsel that this is more about aesthetics than function. If you want a watch as a health and fitness device, I suggest looking elsewhere. On mine the heart rate is seldom accurate and the blood pressure readings questionable. Blood oxygen readings are also likely just programmed guesstimates. As for other functions: When it comes to receiving notifications, I've found that you barely get any of the message. The font is too big and there is no scrolling to get more of the message. Also, the dynamic island (at least on mine) does not work; it always says "No news," regardless of whether or not there are new notifications. Another annoyance is the fact that the compass on mine never worked; it is utterly useless. If you turn the watch the heading indicator follows the turn, rather than swinging about to stay on north. So, if you're lost in a forest and you access the compass and think it's pointing north, be aware that it probably isn't. The music player works fine, weather seems okay, and many of the other apps appear to function as intended. Many of the watch faces are really nicely rendered and much better than some of the more expensive smart watches out there. Unfortunately, the faces available on the app many seem bountiful, but they're really not when you winnow out the ones that are similar and the ones that are little more than pictures with limited watch functions. And in all the time I've had the watch, there have been very few new ones added. I paid about $25 Canadian when I bought it, which was in early 2024, so for the price I can't really complain. That said, I find I rarely wear the thing because the other smart watches I've bought (in a quest to find one that fulfills my needs) just work better. My latest is the Anyloop Sport Watch GPS (bought for $59 CDN), which, as the name implies has built-in GPS. It looks a bit like an Apple watch and features a 1.85 inch screen. The heart rate and blood oxygen readings are more accurate than the Z85 MAX and the notification superior because the font is smaller and you can scroll down and see more of the message. The only downsides are that is has a limited set of apps and the UI is not the most attractive. Also, the watch faces are very basic and extremely limited, there are no gesture controls, no switching the screen off by covering it with the palm of your hand, no compass (which seems odd for a watch that has GPS), no recording function, and fewer of the bells and whistles you'll find in something like the HK9 Ultra 2 or the Hello Watch 3+.

Could you possibly show these watches playing KZbin or a tv streaming app? I'm interested in watching Pluto or Tubi on the watch when nothing else is available at the moment such as Saturday laying in bed waiting on breakfast on a cold morning. I don't sleep with my phone in my room because it wakes the wife and me up.

Your #1 and 2 are out. Don't want vibration on a ring (that battery life is unacceptable), and refuse to do subscription. The AI help from Oura really isn't telling you anything. It's just summarizing what you've already seen from your data and then giving very generic info. Ultrahuman it is.
