I don't know about the others, but I think (metal) chopsticks are easier to clean and more hygienic than a fork, so that's why I want to switch over. (I am european)

I can use chopsticks but had to use these flat ones for the first time today. It was hell until I realised that if I hold them vertical instead of flat, it completely eliminates the flipping and rolling of the bottom chopstick and standard chopstick technique then works

I cant move the top one that far down because my middle finger is blocking it

How does one keep the chopstick on the bottom NOT slide easily on your ring figer. How does one keep it steady there? It still makes no sense to me because pressing it even slowly with right thumb will make the chopstick move or sway. I feel like that's the issue most people have. The bottom chopstick is never steady because it glides. Especially with korean chopsticks since they're not from wood so they don't grip as well on your finger.

What I'm trying to learn, is how do koreans eat ramen with chopsticks? They keep the chopsticks together, parallel, not in a fulcrum triangle shape. The chopsticks are together, then they open to get noodles, then the chopstick go back together.
