Then I use disposable litter box liners to make emptying even easier❤❤

Love it to an extent❤but why the tray mess, when they can be so easily litter trained❤😊makes for less work❤❤just add a regular standard cat litter box with rabbit safe bedding.. pick up 💩 and wipe up 🫛 with a paper towel.. place them in litter box. Bunny will be quick to learn that’s where you want him/her to go❤❤

We have show rabbits in smaller hanging wire cages. We recently tried adding a wooden bottom to part of their cages & several of our bucks decided that was the spot to pee & mark. This caused matted fur, yellow staining, and stinky rabbits. Do you find that this happens & do you have any tips on it? I don't want them to be on wire the whole time.

Thanks for watching, They are going to do what they are going to do. I might try larger cages with more of an option to move around - Also try shallow buckets with straw, this might encourage them to hang out there away from their mess.. I show some of these buckets in my other videos.... Good luck!

I imagine they like to stand on the wood more than the wire as the wires can cause sores on their feet after prolongued period of times, while there is space that's better than most cages I don't see them being able to truly run around, unless there's another space where they get rotated?

I love your hutch's. We have right now 15 meat rabbits and badly need to build more hutches. I am an old man so being able to look at a plan with measurements works better for me. Do you by chance have any I can get???

Birds of prey would pick my rabbits right out of that, where I live. There are Red Tail hawks, American Kesslers, Turkey Vultures and Peregrine Falcons to name a few. Not to mention the pet and feral cats. Has to be 6 sided where I live.

Are these hutches good enough at 40 below? Also wonder if you know if there's any difference between "rabbit pellets" & regular alfalfa pellets? Very nice looking hutches you made.
@FERRERICLOTHIERMENSWEARCobourg2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, -40 is pretty cold, I would supplement with a heat source - like a light bulb in a black jar - careful with the wire - not sure about the pellets. Good lucK !!

These are the best outdoor breeding hutches I've come across online. They look the most spacious and comfortable for them and deal with all seasons and are high above the ground. Not the cheapest and lots of labour and thought went into building them.

How do you do water in winter? I'm looking to build a design similar to yours but need to implement heated waters somehow. Love your design 😃!!
@rinoferrerimenswear22692 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, 3 trips a day with warm water in the winter, I have considered other heating solutions but honestly - bringing fresh warm water is the easiest.
