It works well but it does take practice..... It gives more yield and saves your knife blade with not cutting through any bones.....

It's a white crappie, it has the darker vertical bars.....A black crappie is more freckled....

SK don’t sound like he I well rounded with fishin. You have to be able to fish brush, timber and trees and docks. And you can cast to tress and timber. If it so easy up north than come up here and fish with us and see if you can out fish us. You sound like it so hard down there but I see a few guys like JJ, Lamar Harris and skinny Kennie killin the fish down there. Why you care about loosen jigs buy more. Or go to braid. You can also use brush guard jigs lol. You seem like a one trick pony. Steve is right you can cast to tree. Get you some Kim’s Crappie stopper jigs

Your reply is silly.....I don't have nothing to prove to you. When you can match the fish I put on the table Year Round then your thoughts might mean something to me.... You feel way too comfortable to yap your gums for the few fish you luck up and catch.... I've fished several of those easy lakes y'all have up there already.... I'm not new to crappie fishing.... Don't try'n step on my toes and I won't step on yours.... Can we just all get along here? It’s comments like these that has given the bass guys the cut throat mentality. Please don’t let this happen to our beloved crappie fishing community where everybody loves everybody and open to many different techniques. There is no hard or easy lake in my opinion. It’s just fishing and all lakes have water that’s wet but are different in nature.

They have for years had nothing but negativity towards me, I'm all good with it and I'm never on their time-line....Ever.... But they feel the need to express their little uneducated thoughts on my social media... Lake Houston IS that lake that run several away.... It's definitely a harder lake to CONSISTENTLY Catch Crappie.... Thanks for your continued support Brother!

I don't see why sk don't understand how you can cast trees. I do it all the time big dog it takes accurately placing that jig sometimes it takes more then a cast or two
