How do you keep the quality when making so many emotes on one canvas? I always find on procreate that after copying each one to a separate canvas individually I lose so much quality! T_T

I'm 27 and this gives me hope so much in my illustrator journey. This is very inspiring for me to the point I cried :( , because I am too a graphic designer ever since I graduated. But back then ever since in college I really wanted to be more on the studio art side, painting and illustrating. Though my parents got worried for me that if I were to pursue studio arts I might be financially unstable. So I got pressured on pursuing Graphic Design instead (it's also because most of my friends/classmates are in the Graphic Design and I was unsure with Studio arts even though I wanted to pursue that path). Up until now I'm still struggling with my career path and I've cried a lot. Before my father died he told me that he was worried for my future because it looks like I've been really unsure in my career. Then your video came across my feed and I got inspired and hopeful. So thank you for sharing your story!

I'm about to be 34. I was born with disabilities and always wanted to be an artist. But abuse, being told i wasn't good enough, and life kept me from doing it. But I still took all the art classes in high school. The VR, a place that helps pay college and assistance for disabled people, refused to help me and said it wasn't profitable. I had to choose careers i didn't like and resented it so much. That i wasn't good enough. Fast forward to now, my own healthy little girl loves art, and i encourage her. Her favorite type is paper dolls. When i told her i wanted to be an artist, he said, "Mommy, why dont you? You just.. do it!" And I nearly broke down crying. It really was that simple, wasn't it? I went out a few days ago.. and bought a graphics tablet. Now, I am trying to learn how to draw. Me and my daughter and I are bonding over our art together. 🎉

Ive also just started on online art business in my 30s! I'm so bad at research, I swear I'm just slogging through by faith at this point! 😄 also... yeah, the social media part is lowkey making me lose mind. it just takes so much tiiime!!! Especially because I still have a full time job!! I have like an hour a week to do tlc! nevermind doing my laundry 😭

i'm 26 and i think myself as a 80% realist 20% dreamer because although i think my art is good, it's mediocre at best. I don't create anything that it's easily marketable or fanartsy enough to catch anyone attention do i'm pretty sure i will never live off my art, and that's ok, i want to make art for the joy of it not for work only

Hi Anj, thank you so much, this is a great tutorial and I started making my own giftubers thanks to you! I have a question, when I export gifs from Callipeg, I get really bad colour banding in gradients and where I used large soft brush (e.g. on blush on the cheeks of the character) - do you have this problem as well? Is there a way to avoid that? Or do you just not worry about it as it's just something to expect with gifs and it's going to be relatively small on the screen anyway? Thank you so much for any advice! 💖 PS. By banding I mean that the soft brush transition is not soft but it creates 'bands' of colour areas

Really cool. How long did this take you in real time, hours, days? I have tried messing about with dreams but it seems to take forever to do even simple things. Not dreams fault of course, I know animation is a very slow process.

Why am i tearing up 🥹 im in tht time&place too , one thing that made me want to start art again was when my mom had back surgery and i was taking care of her for 6 months. It made me think about life, aging, love & fear, about future… maybe even death. I hope to be able to live without regrets and give myself a chance to express myself in art again. Thank you, your video is beautiful and inspiring! ❤
