Brother you need something better than Jim beam. Some Buffalo trace is what I would suggest 👌🏽 good cooking 🫡

That was the worst review of any kind, you give zero information or facts about the cooking abilities of the grill. You give out 3rd party information from what somebody told you. How can you give a review comparing 2 grills without using them or having them. You're a Joke.

I bought this as my first propane grill. It's been a fun, learning experience kzbin.infoUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I think it's a bit too pricey after looking at other grills, but it wasn't hard to put together and it works really well. I love the side burner option for heating food during a power outage. I have an electric stove and live in the South (Hurricane season), so this was a bonus. I also bought a cover for it and it has protected it nicely (the Char Broil All-Season Grill Cover 3-4 Burner: Large). Every few grill sessions, I take the rack (or grate) and burner covers off and clean them with a non-abrasive scrubby and mild soap. I wipe the excess off of the bottom as well, taking care to avoid the gas and pilot lines.

I have had one since Christmas 2020, it will cook anything to perfection. One word of caution, when vacuuming the fire box for ashes. be careful around the igniter. I hit it a couple of times with the vacuum and now it won't light. So i called support on a Sunday and they are going to send me a new igniter. Good support. becarefull with it, its a computer that grills.

Nice video. Maybe give a1 year review to see how its holding up. Also is there any updates on the WiFi controller on the smoker? Also for the drip bucket flaw, maybe make a longer rod to hold the bucket better. Maybe future models will fix these issues.

Just watched you Video on the GMG Davey Crockett. I have owned one for a few years and I agree with what you say. there are a few challenges with iy like the height of the grease drain. If I am using mine with just the feet and not the legs I use a small foil tray and put a rock in it to hold it in place when its windy. Definately need a heat barrier under it when it is sitting on its feer I use a piece of 3/4" structural Ply for mine. It does get heat marks on the ply, I have a small 12 volt car vacuum which I use if I am away from home. It doesnt take up much room and carry it inside the grill when traveling. I usually just use the bottom heat deflector plate for direct cooking or both for indirect as you showed. Depending on the day and what I am cooking is to which BBQ is use (I have 9 altogether) gas, charcoal and pellet. I use the pellet grill at least once a week.

According to the GMG web site: Always use the portable grill on a non-combustible surface. Always put a heatproof barrier between the grill and a truck bed or table or other support.

The Green Mountain Davy Crocket Smoker is a cheaply made, poorly constructed, and problem ridden piece of junk that you would eventually be sorry that you bought. Just read the huge number of very negative ratings on Amazon from its unfortunate and regretful owners to confirm!

I agree with your taste testers...The BBQ Rub is really good and looks better, but I personally like the flavor of Famous Dave's Rub better. What I normally do is add some smoked paprika to the FD rub (to bring up the color) and then do a light coating of The Hot BBQ rub over top of the FD...Turns out great every time! Tanks for the video!!!!
