At least I kept some of my good books and I didn’t buy anything during Covid so I’m not really that pissed off.. I told you before I could have gotten $100,000 for my tales of suspense 39 8.5 if I sold it two years ago it’s only about $60-$70,000 right now where it should be. But there were sales $99,000 and $120,000 on Comic Link not that long ago.. keep your videos coming. They are awesome.. I wish I had that chamber of chills, but I don’t work anymore. It’s kind of hard for me to do that..Lee Elias and Graham Ingels of EC are probably your best horror artist

I really like the G1 insecticons. First complete team I had as a kid. I’ve been buying busted up G1 insecticon toys to then make complete figures. Lots of fun! I wanna do repaints for all 3 insecticons in red for the clones. Yeah, the online prices can be all over the place and some are just crazy.

My KO looks exactly like the original. How do i know it is a KO? It cost me mint and sealed 30 bucks

I got it for $5300 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York.. like I mentioned to everybody on KZbin if you were buying Comic Books during Covid, you probably are having a nervous break down. I didn’t buy anything during Covid.. if I sold this 8.5 during Covid there were two sales on Comic Link $120,000 and right after that $99,000 right now it’s in the $60-$70,000 range where it should be.😨😨😨

Have you seen a reissue version that had the wording on the back down lower into the image? The word "the" centered next to Formers, then "more than meets the eye!" down a line and over to the right and the rest is down a line and more to the right. I see all the tells for the reissue, but for this difference.

The last time I saw a Constructicon knockoff there were Kmarts in most cities. I found it in an Easter basket and they were like yours, super cheap, but the company in China at the time cared enough to chrome the parts that were metal or shiny.

For me, the color gives them away, instantly. The KOs have a little more yellow to their paint schemes while the G1s have more green

Yes it’s depressing if you need spending money and you have to sell something.. anyone that bought anything during Covid got screwed because you might never get your money back. I didn’t buy any comic books during Covid. I told you I bought everything relatively cheap.. remember I was in the restaurant business I don’t work anymore. I just go to lots of New York Yankee baseball games every year you can say I live the dream now.. you can’t take your Comic Books to the grave.

Good video,a bit confused as you swap names and call chrommed plastic as metal when its not. This is a cheap ko because on high quality kos its not that easy to tell one from the other.

Hey, I always love watching your Sunday videos. They are awesome. I just got home from a long long lunch with my friend Norwalk Connecticut.. it’s about 7 PM. Anyway just a few years ago fantastic four 1 3.5 sold on eBay for only 5000. The only people that are really losing money or anybody that bought comic books during Covid because everything was through the roof. Yes everything should be down to normal now hopefully they will start going up.. I told you before I still have my amazing fantasy 15. I know you have a copy.. no Marvel chipping I told you I only paid $4000 6.0.. it looks much better. It was graded 20 years ago so I also told you I was offered $100,000 and I refused I’m not selling it.. anyway, I hope all is well. Keep doing what you’re doing. This is awesome.

How would CGC label that Flash comic book if they merged the cover with the rest of the other book? Or do you think the owner will try to sell it raw?

If you bought any comic books during Covid, you are friggin screwed because you are never going to get your money back. Just look at two of my books if I sold those during Covid.. tales of suspense 39 8.5 I bought that in New York City for Covid for $5300. And two copies on Comic Link sold for $120,000 and $99,000.. amazing Spider-Man 1 6.5 I only paid $4200 before Covid and during Covid you could have gotten $30,000 plus of course that has come down. The Iron Man is back to where it should be. Everything is back to where it should be. It’s between $60-$70,000.. so your videos just proves during Covid. Everything was way above where it should be..

It’s just depressing because most of the books have been going down since the end of Covid.. if you bought your books during Covid, you of course paid much too much because when you try to resell the book, you probably have to wait a long long time to get your money back. Let’s take one of my samples.. I bought my tales of suspense 39, 8.5 before Covid for $5300 at the New York comic con about two 2 1/2 years ago that book sold on Comic Link for $120,000 and the next sale was $99,000.. well I am single my last girlfriend made movies magazine covers. She passed away if I just sold one of my great books during Covid I would have so much money right now this book is where it should be $60,000 plus.

I’ve never seen a video of OG Magnus til now, nor have I ever seen one in real life but this confirms my suspicions on it being just a terrible toy. No offense, I love transformers, especially G1 as that was my thing as a kid but man this toy looks bad

I got this for being in a wedding. Its long gone. I played with this everyday for years.

I remember getting this Transformer back in 1986. A great toy!

I remembered in 86 walking across the street to this store everyday that had Metroplex for $40. Didn't have the money then. I believe there are 2 versions of this G1 Metroplex. The cheap plastic tires and the rubber ones which last longer and cost more.

A great tf I got for Xmas in 87/88 - you can also easily tell that is genuine as the tech spec have been cut out ! - but watch out for k/os ! - cheers for this video 👍

Wow, how the mighty has fallen😨😨😨 you never know what you are going to get at auction it’s a crapshoot anyway, my X-men 1 I picked it up years ago for only $300. I got it graded and came back 7.0 recently on eBay 7.0 sold for $40,000.. it’s really a gamble you never know what you are going to get. I told you many times I was offered $100,000 at the New York comic con for my amazing fantasy 15 6.0 no trimming looks much better than the grade it’s only valued at $75,000.

I always wanted Grimlock so for my birthday my parents asked me what I wanted and I told them Grimlock. They got me Galvatron instead because they couldn't find Grimlock and thought Galvatron was the same even though I was crushed I said thank you but was extremely disappointed.

Nice vid...seen some of these in the co.ic shops when i was collecting in the 90s as a teen and i hust gotta shake my head at the fact i had the opertunity to pick some of these up back in the day but didnt...like hulk 181 was only about 50-75 ...i dont know how many times i should have grabbed amazing Spiderman 300 but didnt and it was 50...watched it climb and climb and climb😢

Funny, I am actually dealing with the sealer who sold the Fortress Maximus right now, he is a scammer, he will use other's photo and sell stuff, he will never ship your order or scan it at a USPS kiosk and never drop off the package. He is getting more negative feedback every day, stay away from this seller!

Knockoff Transformers are how I got all the G1 combiners that I otherwise would never have been able to afford, and would have been too fragile to transform. Ditto the Dinobots and the rarer G1 figures like Mirage, Sunstreaker, and Wheeljack.
