I remembered in 86 walking across the street to this store everyday that had Metroplex for $40. Didn't have the money then. I believe there are 2 versions of this G1 Metroplex. The cheap plastic tires and the rubber ones which last longer and cost more.

That's actually really sad about your child hood. I did some child modeling, so these where like currency.

A great tf I got for Xmas in 87/88 - you can also easily tell that is genuine as the tech spec have been cut out ! - but watch out for k/os ! - cheers for this video 👍
