My dad recently passed away and I didn't understand the choke on this engine. I tried cranking it a bunch and was about to give up. This video had me start the motor first crank. Thank you so much for making my life easier

My hydraulic lines won't connect. Is there a way in the TL8 to manually release the hydraulic pressure in those connectors?
@standardrentals62654 ай бұрын
it is most likely a build up pressure on your attachment side, grab a couple wrenches and crack the lines on your attachment then it should hook up with no problem.

How much fuel does it use? For example I need it for a day and know it’s a 3 gallon tank , how many hours does it take to have to refill ? I’m assuming I’ll need to add more at some point
@standardrentals626510 ай бұрын
You should get around 8hrs on a tank they are very good on fuel. But how you run the machine will affect consumption, full throttle vs 3/4 throttle hard clay digging vs sand or dirt ect..

Paul, this is an outstanding video. I rented one of these from a Home Depot and the rental rep did not show half of what you showed. And when the discharge chute became blocked with some stringy elm, your video showed simply how to access the chute to clear the clogged twigs / impacted sawdust. Your company is very lucky to have this sort of knowledgeable person that is a clear communicator as well. THANK YOU!

4 seperate tie downs. All 4 required. This video is actually NOT a good demonstration of how to hook up the chains. Chains under tension that are touching are an issue.

DOT Will pull you over if they see chains touching, as well as loose chain hanging without bungee cords. And can be really picky and get you if the hook from the binder is on the weld side of the link.

🧐Looks like the best way to do it!👍 A secured load can prevent a pull over from DOT. They pull people over if they spot one thing wrong. Working brakes and trailer lights also extremely important!
@standardrentals6265 Жыл бұрын
Thanks, Yes a secured load is so important.
@joshuastevens5910 Жыл бұрын
Except chaining this way, DOT will pull you over cause it’s cross chained and chains are touching each other.

@@KETO_DIET Why? I drive truck for a living and haul equipment. Chains can’t touch each other when chained down.
@joshuastevens5910 Жыл бұрын
@@KETO_DIET You can cross chain, you just have to make sure they don’t touch. As you’re going down the road for miles and miles, the bouncing creates friction. And next thing you know your chains break.

Not a problem at all specs for the trailer are Cargo Weight (the amount of weight that can be hauled on the trailer) - 10,370 lbs (4,703 kg) GVW (total trailer weight) - 14,000 lbs (6,350 kg) Axles 2 - 7,000 lbs capacity with torsion suspension (no leaf springs makes smoother ride and less wear parts and ride height is lower) Measurement Between Fenders - 83" (6' 11") Deck Length - 240" (20') Hitch Size - 2-5/16" Plug Type - 7 blade RV Skid Steer weight 6593 lb
