If this games played later in the year and the D is geling more I think they'll contain Jackson and the game isn't as close. Ravens showed they are one dimensional, Jackson, and taking those hits instead of sliding, he'll be injured and the Ravens mis the playoffs.

Chiefs defense took away Henry, and Ravens defense took away Kelce. Pretty sure if these 2 teams play 10 times, Baltimore wins 4 of them, and maybe 5. Great game to start the season, stressful right up until the last play. lol

Anybody know whats going on with Rookie TE Wiley? Started camp as the #2 TE then when the pads came he dropped to #3 and really hasn't done much. Does Grey get the extension and do they trade/sign Padlock if he Wiley showed flashes? It's early but I'm just saying.

If this is anyone other than Lamar they have 4 sacks last night. Wharton is setting up to have an excellent season. The depth is going to be a problem when they aren’t trusting others to play late in the game. Conditioning was a work in progress last night. They will get better.

This offense is going to be so fun this year! Hollywood wasn’t even playing, Perine wasn’t up to full speed and Kelce had a mediocre game. And the Ravens have a very good D. The other teams in the league are going to be losing sleep trying to contain this O.

Hey Dylan, no I don't think so. I watched Kelce specifically on several designed pass plays, and Balt was double-covering him for the first 3-4 secs. Also, Kelce was used as a key blocker on several plays. If the Cincy defense wants to take Kelce away like Balt did, that's fine, Cincy will have to keep track of Worthy, Rice, Watson, Gray, and RBs coming into the flat.

Lamar Jackson is a dog!! He is the most the effective mobile QB in the league. He is dangerous if he gets an alley to run in so for the first game of the season I think on the whole the Chiefs defense did ok. Yes there’s room for improvement but this Chiefs win will loom large as we get to the playoffs!!! Go Chiefs!!!!

I was not implying that Jackson is better than Pat in anyway shape or form. I was just saying Jackson is dangerous when he has to run the ball.

Totally agree. Fun to watch. I will say his inability to make clutch throws outside the numbers especially is why I’m not sure he can win 3 or 4 games in a row against playoff caliber teams. I also don’t see how you hold up when you can’t keep drives going without QB runs. Just my assessment.

Went to Arrowhead for the first time tonight. What an atmosphere! Unlike any other sports event I've ever been too. I also learned that KC rain is no joke! It starting pouring like crazy on everyone about 30 minutes before kickoff and then out of nowhere it just stopped lol

I think there are reasons to be proud of 76. He only allowed one sack, wondering 💭 how many total pressures that he faced in the game. I was expecting Big Red to start giving him help but the team seems to trust him to be on an island 🏝️ on the left side. He’s going to learn from this game and continue to get better. I think it’ll probably take him 5 games to get up to speed.

He doesn't face pressures, he let's up pressures. He had someone coming for the qb on every play. I believe he let up 2 pressures n 1 sack bit for 1st game rookie, I'm not mad at it

I know Chris for the Chiefs and he's a class act but I like this kid Kevin for the Ravens. He knows he has a good team but respects the Chiefs at the same time. He went with his team and so would I if i was him but I'm not so the Chiefs win in a good game 34 -27 at home. GO CHIEFS!

It's very simple if you don't want to see Derrick Henry just go be aggressive and run up the score. This is not rocket science, to beat Run first teams just trouble the scoreboard with touchdowns and not field goals, That will render their running game OBSOLETE since the team is now forced to pass in order to keep up. I can't stress enough how many times I have seen the Titans fall behind and Henry was relegated to the sidelines like an assistant coach since he now became useless on the field with time at a Premium.

@@Truthteller01 I guess its dense hour alert ...Go read my post again, I said RUN FIRST TEAM. Go look at their history and their stats on offense under Lamar, their PASSING NEVER finishes ahead of their RUSHING. They were Number ONE in the League last season in that department. You want Lamar to pass the ball because the inconsistency leaves the door open for mistakes in all forms, And it doesn't matter if they get off a couple pass plays for scores since it gets the Chiefs Offense back on the Field quickly. Didn't you just watch the playoffs when they tried to pass more than they ran and how ugly it looked with Lamar finishing with a 41.6 QBR

They finally figured that out. They trained to BEAT the blitz, get the ball out quicker and Lamar's going to audible way more at the line of scrimmage.

We have traditionally given up mutch run yardage while allowing minimal RedZone points so your long-running drives will end up in field goals as we score through the air at will on you. Flowers is always good for a goal line turnover as McDuffy smothers him even more than Sneed did. Chiefs win 31-27

Patrick is gonna be ready to play I have no doubt. I’m gonna be watching to see how Suamataia does protecting Patrick’s blindside I’m sure he’ll be up to the task. He’s going to be going against a NFL level pass rusher not sure who is gonna be across from him at game time. He’s a new rookie LT I’m expecting the Ravens to attack him so I hope he’s ready for what’s coming. Baltimore is a team that will run 🏃 the ball 🏈 down our throat so that middle D line and LB group has to get Henry on the ground.
