Oldie but a goodie- eye of agamotto, ignores shape change and super senses, prob control only on the character's attack and if mystical, can use perplex. It's mean.

There was a time when they handed out psychic blast like candy to most of the pieces in a set. I follow the rules for penetrating but in home games I allow pieces with a Power Cosmic like team ability to be able to reduce the damage. It makes no sense for a 60 point figure with PB to cut through someone like Thanos or Darkseid as if their armor was tin foil.

My favorite is Supergirl, she is also secret six, and she is perfect for that team, because she adds tokens to enemies which gives enemy hit the monster keyword. she also has a nasty poison power, that does penetrating to characters that have her token on them and can target them even if they aren't adjacent to him.

1. Heroclix in practice is a small name game and only exclusive play at comic book store; even so, it makes the player base is small. There are lack of memorable impact due to no improvise or no advertisement. 2. I play Heroclix at the start in 2011 when a street fighter was released. The only issue it happens is some sets lack to utilize like formats or some figures were weak from old or impractical. Some sets are end up sense a waste of money due to bad offers or some sets are good. The last time I played was 2013. 3. The booster set that cost 15 dollars or 25 dollars as draft events hurts the new player and budget when starting the games. It buying a 15 dollars pack and only ends up dollar pieces instead or a rarely above 30 dollars. There is dark phoenix from 10th marvel anniversary peak at 80 dollars back in 2014. 4. Some figures or characters are ignored and not supportive help from new sets. Example old calypso figure with new upgraded calypso or Kraven team will be good. 5. Heroclix when compared to some game will be Yugioh. Only because the business tactics is keep up with the jones, upgrade often due to rotation and outbeat some old figures. Magic the gathering has diverse formats and keep the time pacing normal; also, Magic lets take your time to build collection. On the other side in heroclix, It feels a rush to get them up to date and play competitive often.

I always wondered what would be the benefit of perplexing up your attack vs perplexing down the target’s defense. It depends if your target will be the subject of attacks from multiple friendly characters, then it’s best to perplex down the target’s defense, so you can multiply it’s benefit across multiple attacks for a given turn.

Instead of Legacy cards being on a Booster- bring back tournaments of older sets where you win a card for someone that can be found within the older set limits. So if the rules are non-carded DC then the Legacy cards can be for a unique from Hypertime, Cosmic Justice and so on. This may bring back players tired of Tournament cut-offs
