Biggest fear is that it will release close to WoW’s next expansion and fall on its face because of it. I mean, I’m getting expansions for all 3 MMOs I play this summer, there’s just not enough time for everything.

About housing, based on what the trailer says "this wasn't much of a home for me, I hope it will be a home for you" or something like that, I think the location and building will be fixed, and to go to a friend's house you'll need to join a party and travel together, like ant other instance.

Note that if you want to use the spear both on land and in the water you need to either manually re-equip it to another slot or get yourself another spear. There's going to be a second legendary spear, so if you're willing to grind get that to use them in both types of combat.

If anet used the resources of the back legendary in here, and put it into legendary underwater mouthpiece.....that would gain them alooooot of merit and replayability. 40% of Those already have legendary back will be not bothered even before it was released.

wonder if this will be a bigger expac than secrets. kinda miss living stories with the free new maps and stories. more wondering if we are now getting an expac every year just to pay for content that was givin out in living stories.

Man I miss this game so much it's hard to describe. I used to play this with my daughter, everyday we used to look into the community forums to check if there is a new infamous build for PvP or ways to farm ectoplasm in the hardest areas with minimum party or solo. I miss her so much I wish I could go back in time.

I tried mechanist and it was too boring for me. Now trying soulbeast and its way better. My first class was reaper and its still my fav, its just satisfying to play it. Now switched to scourge to try but i dont really see any reason to play it over reaper

I'm facing the (good) problem of too much good content in MMOs this summer with FFXIV, GW2, and WoW all having interesting expansions

The quality of their content dropped hard , not realy excisted for the next expansion

14 is about the journey way more than a lot of mmos. Wow it is literally just endgame. I can't speak to others as much, but 14 you get immersed because everything has an attunement. You need all the context, which in itself is huge.

GW2 has player housing now...... Suppose that confirms player housing for wow too then 😂

YAS! Spears and housing. Two things that I've also been wanting since forever. Whichever class gets to throw spears is the one I will play (I used to be a Paragon main in GW1). I agree that SOTO wasn't my favorite and kind of felt like GW2's version of WoW's Shadowlands. SOTO didn't hold my interest, but this has got me hyped.

it looks gorgeous. spears look fun. as for new playable race, skritt of course! (never gonna happen). player housing, I could care less about. EQ2 and lotro had the best with SO much customization and even then, meh. a fad for a time & way too overdue in gw2 to make me care.

I've had more content to do within FFXIV after I stopped focusing on just MSQ and Raiding and it has been a blast. I'm not gonna run out of things to do for a very long time (and this is coming from someone who's been playing for 5 years)

Yeah ff14 isn't like a single player game that's it's just one and done or you play it a few times then your down there leveling your other jobs, leveling you crafter and gather, grinding for relics, grinding for the best glam, raids and then there are also savage and extreme raids which you can ignore cause most people are lifeless loser that think being able to go a raid in a video game make them cool when there not unless you do raids with friends then

Its wild to me how many people steamroll through the entire msq and miss everything else until later. A lot of the content is made to be played with its expansion, and endwalker even has little ways it rewards players who did just that (and though they are small they still got me so excited) that you will completely miss if you steamroll. I know some people find that to be the ideal way to play but its so foreign to me that I just don't understand it. I've spent two years working my way through most available content, the only things I've been saving are savage and ultimates and that ilk. And its been such a wonderful relaxing and refreshing time. I'm probably going to finish the last of the ew patch content before dawntrail drops, but if I don't oh well haha.
