This is so not the way to do this. Just use you’re LVP cutter much cleaner and more accurate cute by adjusting you’re LVP cutter to the 45 degree angle. Can you say rookie. I would have had mine installed already all the time he’s wasting. Once you start trimming off and shaving you lose a perfect clean cut

You need to invest a bit more into some basic tools, bro. Like a straight edge and a seam tractor.

This is absolute diy carpet installation for sure. Invest $20 in a good carpet tractor and show how to make an actual blended seam. Same carpet and all…

Just curious, how has this install held up? Do you regret using the knee-kicker vs a cross spanning carpet stretcher? Considering doing the exact same thing in my basement. Thank you for the video!

I freaking love it, dude I don’t know how I got on this trend of carpet installation. Oh wait, yeah I do lol Picked up a scrap of carpet was gonna make a rug for my drum set but all the videos I have seen so far you guys are awesome I love the fire jokes too. I’m more or less literally burnt my house down with a blow dryer. Yes, I was using it for heat. I bet you could figure out the melting point for that glue and get one of those handheld temp guns. That way you know 100% you’re getting it to the right heat and not overheating it.

I gotta say this is the first how to video that got it right. This the exact way to install cove base. Some butchers use hot glue guns to get the outside corners to stay. Thats because they don’t know what the hell they are doing. Some will even make a slit on the bottom toe of the base on the outside corner to help it stay again that’s a big no no. Well done video my man keep it up. And I’m sure you’d rather work with the 120ft rolls makes for a cleaner looking job and faster also. After some time we all know how those cove base seams shrink up and gap. Well done my man. 👍👍👍👍👍
