It is unfortunate these type of videos are often seen as attempts at defusing the stereotype , egregious cops that we have seen so much of.. with the too often inevitable cover up, the lies, and even more egregiousness blatant lies, that anyone can see ( except internal affairs the union, and prosecutors ) will be ruining a person's life for no reason. Too often done for officer retention, as applications have fallen dramatically, w Police department's all around the country falling short of human applicants and therefore creating that need to retain, even bending so far as to hire what should easily be seen as people afflicted with cretinism. All that said the guy in this feature seems like a reasonably good guy, but I would like to know how many were looked at before he was chosen? I would have to see what he would do in a chaotic situation, where a denizen from the other side of the blue line, on scene, being an unnecessary bully and breaking the laws they are hired to enforce, is ignored or dealt with. Yes, that is required to see what really matters and what this man is made of. Believe me,I say all the time that there are things in our society we should not have to wonder about,.... such as putting ourselves in legal Jeopardy, by doing what is essentiallythe right thing the w/o q the first time ( at a high cost) and knowing the question becomes subjective in that "what if ".…. history repeats itself does , "will I. becomes should I leading on into" I'm glad I didnt "( once the moment has passed ). Speaking for myself here, I truly believe the sad shame about this is the fact that I have identified myself- for over half a century - as an eternal optimist,,. so even wondering what I would do the 2nd time, notwithstanding the fact that it would be very rare for the same thing to happened in the same way ever again- all of which doesn't matter... once I find out I have to ask myself that question. and even far worse than that. . is the fact that I really don't know the answer..
