Fr Warner, I live in USA, I identify with your plight. I feel your pain...praying for you. Perhaps you chose Jeremiah because he embodies that pain? Are you familiar with Abraham Heschel, The Prophets, Vol 1? ...the pathos of YHWH?

Dear Fr. Warner, as i listened again todays reflection while i was travelling back home, i had a sense how unfaithful and stubborn i was with God, that there was desire to fall on on my kness and ask for forgiveness and mercy. I also pray those close to me also experience repentant heart.

Dear Fr Warner, Jeremiah under God's instruction shatters a clay jar to symbolise the irreversible effects of sin. This teaches us that some people's lives are so broken by sin that it would be difficult for them to be repaired. Still today God offers mercy to those who repent & lead righteous lives. Liked your words 'God wants to be our Saviour but when we say no, He becomes our judge. Thank you for your treasurable teaching, & blessing prayers for all who do not believe in God, the sick & the aged. God bless you always. 🙏 💕

The God who is so Holy. People were hard hearted defiled the place and put their trust in false gods. So disgusting sacrificing their own children. So wicked hearted and stubborn people gave themselves to do evil. Still some people worship idols.

Fr Warner Why is Sunday noted as the 1st Day if the Week .. I hearr you saying that Sunday is the 7rh Day. Us it because the Sunday begins on what we call the 7th Day that is Saturday? Then Father what is the Significance of the 8th Day . ... Sometimes I refer to the Sunday as the 8th Day...... This is somewhat .....confusing. . If the Saturday evening Mass is not celebrating the Sunday then what is the importance of the 7th Day......Thanks Fr. Warner ..... Peace! 🌻😇🇦🇬

The effect of sin is not only internal or external but ETERNAL This is the important point that you highlighted. We know that All that glitters is not gold. To us the materialistic things shine.with a special glitter while Virtue remains in the background. We stand in eternal danger of deviating from the narrow load leading to Salvation. The Chosen People hated the Teachings of Jeremiah and planned to get rid of him.I appreciate the way you compared the way The Prophet Jeremiah was rejected just like they rejected Jesus because Jesus spoke the Truth The message of God can never be outdated because God repeats His message asking the people to repent. May the Holy Spirit teach us to forgive those who make us the object of ridicule. May the Holy Spirit continue to inspire and guide you Fr.Warner God bless you and protect you always 🙏 Fr.Warner 🎉

Your words ...Take your time...absolutely true. When I was younger when someone upsets me ,I will not get peace till I gave a fitting reply. But now at 56..and as I have been deep dwelling in God's words ...after a few deep breaths , a reading of the Bible together with prayer a good sleep and a cup of tea later I realise what I wanted to say did not matter at all. The interest of giving back is gone from me....and I have realised every action need not have an opposite reaction ...also sometimes silence speak better than words.

The clay giving instructions to the potter. Sometimes we do this even now. External ,Internal ,and Eternal danger of loosing our soul ...that hits hard. Yes indeed God turned His back on us ,Still He is merciful enough to show us His face through Jesus ....Jesus's words...whoever has seen me has seen the Father❤ Verse 18 keeps happening now too. If you stand up for Christ you become world's enemy. Still I beg to differ with Jeremiah a bit. I do know injustice is happening to Jeremiah. But he was a man of prayer who knew God's ways better than the rest of the world. He did not have to instruct God about how God needs to deal with people. All he needed to do was to remind God of his promises where God has spoken...Vengence is mine.... and leave the rest in God's hands. Today I realise how Jesus has impacted and influenced our lives which has made such a drastic difference about how to deal with people, how to leave everything in the Mighty hands of the Lord ,how to forgive ,how to wait on the Lord and much more❤❤❤ Thank you Father Warner for the eye opening teachings.

Chiidren & youth today use the colourful words out of FOMO. We do the same yes bcz satan has learnt to mk sin shine 😥 True that virtue is old school .lack lustre .you only have to see how ppl flaunt their social media status with worldly interests ...no mention nor sign of God . Ppl don't take this 'God turning His back' seriously till they understand it's impact and intensity when the crosses appear in their life .But it's a harsh reality . That's very true Fr we like to hear what we want to hear not what God wants us to hear . Jeremiah and the priests who speak truth to power are not easy to digest . Your teaching has made the comfortable disturbed and the disturbed comforted Fr .Thank you for disturbing us to repentance and comforting us in despair .🙏🙏🙏 Jeremiah's words r disturbing when good is not recompensed .May we never have to pray such prayers for anyone 😥🙏 (exception for politicians who permit and execute crimes )

Todays Liturgy reading ...a part of it Mathew 23: 29 -33 made so much sense and connected well with Jeremiah's situation. I can feel completely ,the Abba Father and Jesus are one and in each other...because Jesus spoke exactly as a continuation of the Old Testement. So beautifully well connected❤....especially verse 30 and 31❤

I fully agree wt u Fr.Warner reg Sat Mass, was for working people as my dad worked on a Sun. My son in the US tells me , the people are few in the churches there but these are the people who are really serious about their faith. The mass there goes upto 1.5 hrs and no one cribs . Yes I must admit only when there's a picnic or travel on a Sunday I too hv gone for Sat mass though I really don't like it. Wonderful teaching stay blessed

We disobey God's law. Our heart is ready to do evil things which lead us to sin. Though the prophet Jeremiah tried his best to save the people and ask for repentance they plot evil against him.

Dear Fr Warner, in these verses we see that disobedience & rejection of God's word exists even today. It's true that people are fascinated by things that shine in the modern world - forgetting integrity & values. You summed it up so well - the effect of sin is not only external & internal but 'eternal' - the danger of losing our souls. Jeremiah's plea to God asking for justice reminds us that we should leave all judgements in God's Hands. Thank you Fr for your excellent teaching & blessing us. God bless you always 🙏 💞

Romans 12:17-19 NKJV 17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have[a] regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Easy to read, not always easy to practice. Fr. Warner, thank you for bringing life to this text, I am sure you share a unique viewpoint with Jeremiah, and it does not go without notice the similarities of this teaching to the state of the world right now. Thank you God bless.
