Thank you Father Warner What you are explaining is what St. Paul was trying to get through to the people of his tim. He said that we are not yet what we are meant to be but when Our Lord comes again we will be a new creation and that when it is revealed we will be like Him. No one can take the place of Jesus but we can become another Christ for the sake of His sorrowful passion here on earth. So many want God's blessings to see what they can get out of Him bot they really don't want to be like Jesus who is The Incarnation of God here on earth. Their true blessings were not what they have accumulated here in order to build their image, but the souls entrusted to them to love, nurture, guide, protect and raise up as sons and daughters of God in the image and likeness of Christ
