I hate to say this and I know many will disagree, most American cars, with some exceptions, are top-heavy pieces of junk. If you watch the videos of hipo cars, it's always the American cars fishtailing and crashing. I would say the cars of today with proper center of gravity are the Viper and the GT 40. Everything else is junk.

Problem is they are only available online, takes like two weeks to get the stuff and it's very expensive. When in a pinch I have picked up some products at Walmart's like Chemical Guys and Mother's. I have a (now discontinued) A2speed 84mm billet TB and used it without a tune initially, I don't remember the hesitation or flat spot you mentioned...it has been a while though. I got a Jay Greene tune on the car after getting the 84mm and it is a worthwhile investment if you want a little more from your car. Definately pepped it up. At the strip i can run high 11's in good cool/dry air, and low 12's in florida heat and humidity. Not bad for a basically stock scatpack with no weight reduction. I have a new take-off intake that i was going to clean up and smooth out, will probably need to get the tune tweaked to maximize things.

It could be any number of things- your quality of gas, the time of day you're testing, the weight of your car, tire wear, etc...Also, Mustangs do generally better on the top end anyways (4 valves per cylinder). Chargers are more aerodynamic, which comes into play in a 60-120. The TB is a supporting mod, just like the intake manifold and the air intake. A tune isn't required but it can benefit from a tune (like you said) , but a car can benefit from a tune _without_ all those mods, paradoxically.

Good find. It makes sense to tune for a bigger tb. Especially with the ported intake. Those are a pretty big change combined.

Are they really that easy to do? I hadca brake shop quote me 6 hours to replace my rotors and pads on a 2013 SRT8 Challenger. It has the 6 piston calipers on the front and the 4 pistons on the back. But the setup looks exactly like this.

Haha I have tge same k&n intake and the vacuum hose tuned Brittle and Snapped I was able to salvage it with self sealing tape can’t find a link to the hose itself

DC is never going to match or exceed what's already available on the aftermarket. The SRT engineers are not necessarily drag racers. That's part of the issue.

The 1320 wheels are no lighter than the standard wheels, although they look nice.
