Would you think that the Juno 106 sounds better than the Split Eight or Mulitrak? If you had to choose one, what would be your pick? Thank you 🙏🏻

They are different enough soundwise to get/have both. If you need more voices/stacking i would go for the split eight. The Juno is much better if you want quick editing. And it's such a classic all sweetspot synth.

The Behringer stands up very good to the Roland, don't like the color on the new Roland line, infact owned pretty much all the Rolands, the new Roland line for the past 20 yrs, is not of that quality they used to be, and too early released with lot of bugs, and flaws, that was not the case before 1995, Behringer is very much into fix eventual flaws and update where needed fast, also good buildquality, Roland had lost some of the old days exitment apeal to me, but that just my opinion =D Thanks for shareing <3

Great comparison. The Snare was the only thing I perhaps preferred on the Behringer … its hats were pretty bad, though, and that’s a big problem for a’a 606 clone’ … !! I think they did a much better job with their 303 clones …

Thanks for doing this! It really has a thin 1979-1981 TV drama or sci fi show background music vibe. May not be bad for Twin Peaks and BOC fans. Slightly meandering envelopes and a dark timbre though. In comparison the Six Trak Jumps out of its seat when you want it too. And can sound happy or poppy in a major key if you want it to.

How is the Pro-1 sequenced?
@umusic6
@umusic6 9 ай бұрын
I used trigger out 1 of the RD-9 to connect to the Pro-1 gate in, which advances the note in the Pro-1s sequencer on each trigger). Beforehand, of course I recorded this sequence into the Pro-1 over a Midi Keyboard). The clever thing with the RD-9 is, if you mute the rimshot on the rd-9, the trigger out is also muted.

So true. Behringer Pro-800 is quite amazing in this regard b (when it comes to the vintage sound right out of the box). Rev2 can be tweaked to sound more vintage, but thats too tiresome.

Hi to umusic6 and all the follower! I am happy to see one of my phasers at work again, and, I am really astonished myself how a fantastic sound it generates. But I see the Feedback Poti is not working at all, because normally you can excite the phaser so that it generates a sound itself. Maybe with the transport the poti is no more soldered correctly to the board. Have a look at that. Good Luck to all! Gerard
