Those sound sick straight piped. I would ride that on the road, people out here would think it's a Harley

That's the way a Kawasaki Z-1 or KZ is supposed to sound!!! I know, My '75 Z-1 900B sounds like that, it's a really BADASS KAWASAKI SOUND, very distinctive in every way!!! Kawasaki Nate Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Really nice. I love to see all original triumphs, not all shinny and restored. Running good and mechanically sound is all you need. 👍🏻👍🏻

Brings back a lot memories. Those were some wild times. The big Kawasaki ruled the streets. Solid motorcycle back then and today still a great motorcycle ! Japanese 4-Cly motorcycles , horizontal 4’s are the Best Motorcycles ever Built ! Like a model T ford after years of sitting they come back. If serviced correctly you might still be riding it today ! Quality Engineering !

That thing is definitely WAY lower compression than the one my dad has.. At 6'10 320 it takes all my leg strength to force his through and takes most of my weight to jump on it.. but then his was set up for flat track racing before we got it.. Vid here if you want to see it. kzbin.info/aero/PL6Gz_TRD0rk3HWVwz5Wgl0hHWPxJCxzp6

What's the compression ratio on this motor?
@jaratt85
@jaratt85 2 жыл бұрын
@@jameslane3167 his I'd say maybe 9.5:1 MAX, a typical Bonneville was only 8.5:1 the one my dad has.. not sure but I'm guessing over 12.5:1 being set up for racing. The factory T120C/T120TT compression ratio was 11:1. They also had larger cams and carbs than the standard Bonneville. They used the 389/95 carb which was oddly the same used on the 1961 TR5R engine I used to own.. just two instead of one.

These X75 Hurricanes always remind me of something that an impoverished art student might design in his bedroom. Probably using modeling clay and balsa. Top classic design job by Mr Craig Vetter.
