South Bend Lathe

Here is a South Bend Lathe, using it to remove .500" from the face of this aluminum rear wheel sprocket carrier for custom KZ900 build. The purpose is to allow the rear sprocket to align properly with the front sprocket. The slight tapping sound that you may hear is not chatter, it is the fact that the cutting tool is passing by the bolt holes.
